Kris Wood's loan finishes at Brum today. Someone on twitter reporting that he will probably go to another NPC club on loan. Definitely worth a loan for the rest of the season IMO.

Got to wonder why he was only here for 5 months though.

I think he does though. He hasn't played particularly well since he got injured. Chaplow came in while he was injured and was absolutely fantastic. Chaplow got injured and Lallana is misfiring and now we have a problem. 8 points in 8 games proves that.

Certainly doesnt look as sharp as he has done this season...I'm sure he'll come good again though. Don't think he is fully fit, but needs some competition IMO to give him a kick up the backside.

Think he said on twitter that he wasn't back at the club until tomorrow.

Interesting interview GWC. Thanks for that. Sounds like he could be a bit hit and miss at times but clearly got the talent. Hope he fits in very well with us and seems to have all the attributes to do so. Also with Adkins' constant positivity, you can't really ever see him hitting a 'slump'!

Thought that he'd be worth giving a second chance, but after today he clearly hasn't got over his attitude problems...good riddance.

Well thats what I was originally saying...but if he's not going to be ready to play for 2 months...why not get someone who won't need to adjust...just to reiterate..I'm quite excited by this signing.

I can imagine it now...."I always dreamed of playing for this club, I've followed them since I was a young lad and used to stand at the dell every week watching my heros..."

Which makes you wonder what would be the point in signing him in a January window rather than waiting until the summer.

Let's not forget...we were at our best this season when Chaplow wasn't even in the team. Don't get me wrong he was absolutely superb once he came into the side, but with the Guly/Lallana/Rickie/Connolly combination working so well, Chaplow was just our 4th choice CM.
