Lallana has been poor since he's come back....BUT who is is there that would be able to go his job ? A 70% Lallana is probably more effective than a 100% Holmes. Did we bring him back? Probably....but I think in the last few games we've had too many players underperforming. We're going to have a blip this season, lets just try and make that blip as short as possibly, hopefully ending on Saturday.

Morgan was definitely playing up front at in the first half.

When was he here ?

Are people still waiting for Pompey ticket email?

Embarressing if we've not sold out. -
I think we've still won every game after a defeat...though after seeing us on Saturday I'm very worried when Lambert isnt on the teamsheet!
-
Should we be worried about next two local away derbies
Saint Garrett replied to corsacar saint's topic in The Saints
Very worried, especially if we carry on playing Lallana and 3 CM's in midfield. Realy missed Rickie and Chaplow's energy yesterday. -
Are we the main game again ?!
-
Was hoping we'd start with De Ridder out wide. Davis; Fraser, Fonte, Hooiveld, Fox; De Ridder, Cork, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Guly, Barnard ???
-
I would have thought the club would have made a big deal out of it were we close to selling out.
-
Gutted if true, I know you're normally pretty reliable with information. Will be interesting to see how we cope without him. Guly and Barney up front then?
-
Guly is our Balotelli....why does he need to celebrate haha

From footballgroundguide.... Where To Drink? As the stadium is on the outskirts of town, then there is not much choice in the way of pubs. There is though the Lakeside, a Beefeater outlet near Stadium Way (you should catch sight of it, if you drive towards the stadium from Junction 3 of the M18). Chris Parkes a visiting Nottingham Forest supporter informs me; 'I had no problems with getting a drink in the Lakeside Beefeater, in fact there were more Forest fans in there than home fans before the game. We were also allowed in after the game for a pint or two while the traffic cleared.' The pub also has a separate restaurant section. Whilst David Rose adds; 'There is a bar in the bowling alley next to the Vue Cinema, which is situated on the other side of the lake'. Dave a Norwich City fan tells me; 'There is a bar at the stadium itself, which we were allowed to go into. It does get very busy in the hour up to kick off but if you get in early, as we did, you should be okay. The bar has plenty of seating, as well as an organised queuing system to avoid the normal bustle at the bar. There was no food available though.' Alcohol is also available inside the stadium.

Not sure Viafara was a 'fans favourite'. Maybe people appreciated him for the Derby match, but other than that he was pretty abysmal. Never seen someone give the ball away so much in my life.

Annoying thing with Guly is he clearly does produce and for that he is worth having in the team. Especially at home he is unplayable at times. Just on occasions away from home, hes anonymous for 85 minutes. Generally if Guly has a bad game then we struggle to break a team down. When Guly has had his best games, we've probably scored 3 or more goals.

Great signing, very happy to make him permanent. Lets hope he's more of a 'Chaplow' than a 'Saganowski'!!

What pubs are people thinking. Fortunately only a short trip for me and my mate from Sheffield, thinking of getting over to Donny for about half 12?

Wasn't it Brentford ? Think Liverpools record is 21 home league wins post war
-
It's certainly do-able... None will be 'easy games' though.
-
Picked up a knock...will need him fit Saturday.

It's class for me living in Sheffield. Great value for money and touch wood they've now managed to sort out the commentary issues. Well worth it.

Should win home games. Should beat Doncaster on Saturday. Should be Pompey..we'll see. I wouldnt be surprised if we draw 2 of them...
