He played 18 games for Forest last season...I think that says enough. He was always behind Earnshaw, Blackstock, Adebola, Mcgoldrick, Mcgugan, Tyson in the pecking order.

I couldn't stand him when he played for us either! He was part of a poor team, yes he scored some important goals, but I think any other striker would have scored them as well. I do thank him for keeping us up on the last day of the season, though it just gave us a bit more time before the inevitable happened. He missed a lot of very easy chances for us as well as scoring.

Absolute donkey ! He was so so bad. Wouldn't want him back here, we've moved on

I've got a close friend who is a Forest fan so went to see them quite a few times last season. He was far from being one of their 'best players'. He rarely got in their first 11.

I'd say Puncheon and Barnard are worth more than that.

I don't think we'd set the world alight but I don't think we'd struggle, although a lack of pace is there for everyone to see. We might run out of idea's and not have a plan B. I think we have a first XI equal or better than quite a few NPC teams.

It's the same with the Billy Sharp confirmation I think. There's no quotes on that page either. And the Stock page isn't looking good on our behalf. Looks like he's looking forward to the new season with Donny. Hopefully we can offer something he can't refuse! I suppose as the club captain he can't come out and say, 'i'm not bothered about pre-season because i'm leaving anyway'

All away Northern games are at the weekend and while I am at Uni (Sheffield) Nice few home games before I go back to uni, nice few home games while back over the xmas period and some easy looking fixtures to wave to pompey as we go up and they get relegated again !!
