  1. Adam Johnson?
  2. Highly likely it’s a “nominal” salary if anything. Maybe £1k a week, if that. But giving him the best opportunity to carve out a career
  3. Such an odd transfer window so far, Supposedly a deflated market, with clubs in financial difficulty, but plenty of money being thrown around, and some ridiculous prices for certain players given they're experience. Still no real clue where the market is regarding transfer fees.
  4. Assuming Potter stays at Brighton, I don't see them being relegation candidates this season. Always nice selling a squad player for £50m, which enables you to improve your starting XI.
  5. Pretty sure he's on about £70k/week, and was our highest earner. Not a chance he's on £130k. No chance whatsoever.
  6. Seems to have gone from "Danny will be here next season" to "It's far from ideal situation". Sounds to me that it's moving towards him leaving, which would be a shame. I just hope we don't leave it so late, and then lose out on Armstrong deal because of it. It's a big summer and we don't seem to be winning it at the moment. Obviously still a long way to go til the end of the window, but I'm sure Ralph would prefer to have full squad in pre season.
  7. He barely played last season, as Dawson took his place, and we were keen before he went there. They’re also trying to raise money to sign Rice on new contract and sign Lingard, wouldn’t surprise me if he’s being touted about by the dildos
  8. Quality player and a shame for us, but will be a good signing for Leicester. Agree maybe he isn’t the best fit anymore for the way we play, but a lot riding on his replacement…
  9. He doesn't need to be first choice in every game anyway, for z club playing 60 games a season. If he's fit he'd likely come off the bench in most games, and likely to start quite a few too.
  10. What other business are Spurs likely to do this summer? Spurs are still hopeful of bringing in at least one more centre-back, with Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, Inter’s Milan Skriniar and Jannik Vestergaard of Southampton among their targets. They also hope to shift some of their existing defenders, with Aurier and Davinson Sanchez both available. Toby Alderweireld, as The Athletic reported this month, is hoping to leave before the end of the window.
  11. Didn't see huge amounts from him, but difficult to judge in such a pathetic league. Like I said, I really hope he can come back and smash it up and get 20 goals from midfield, but it seems unlikely. I'm not sure he can change his core attributes that much from playing in the equivalent of League 1.
  12. Not at all, because JWP had the technical ability, and he plays in the middle. Plus he is exceptional at set pieces. Elyounoussi is an attacking player who lacks technical ability, gives the ball away too much, and has no pace. If Ralph thinks he deserves another chance then I'm all for it, but I'd be concerned if we're relying on him next season. Not sure he's an "impact player" to come off the bench either
  13. Having 3 decent full backs, 2 of which can play either side would be pretty good, and 1 a couple other options as a 4th option (Stephens, Bednarek, Diallo, JWP) makes sense to me. The drop in quality if one gets injured or banned has been a real problem. Just whether that option is Williams in on loan for best part of £6m...
  14. Plenty have been auto-added already, but link below for anyone who hasn't been involved previously... https://fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/auto-join/syfnyr
  15. It was available to pay a few weeks ago I think, I paid mine.
  16. It's about £6m over the season, a fair wack for borrowing someone else's player for sure, but better than spending the same on a lower league player who is nowhere near good enough, or someone that'll cost £15m inc wages and also may not be good enough. It makes sense to bring in Williams, especially given he can play both sides, but it's not great long term planning. The other option would be to bring in someone who is 30+ and have higher wages but could sign on a low transfer fee, much like Bertrand... I'm torn on this one, and I'm sure the club are too. Depends what other options there are out there.
  17. Bought him on FM, yet to make his debut, true story
  18. IMO if we keep him, it’s because no one will buy him. Clearly has got something, but the lack of ability and pace stood out massively when he last played for us.
  19. Seems a bit mad that they’re asking for more for Williams, than they did for Lingard.
  20. Sounds like targeted ads…
  21. Swap for Armstrong a go-er?!
  22. Clearly wanted out, and was a bit of a cock. Or so we’re led to believe. Always been very highly rated, but if he doesn’t want to be there there isn’t much point.
  23. Funny, I thought he was absolutely dross in this tournament. Couldn't get in Middlesbrough side, and went to Spain. Was a panic signing by Barcelona, and they'll be trying to rid of him this summer I'd think.
