Any new owner would surley have to either sell EVERY seat from now until the end of the season just to pay wages or sell even more players, which they can not do before January and furthermore who is going to offer them top dollar when the players may well be able to claim breach of contract and tear their contarcts up anyway. I am worried for them now, i really am.

Fair comment MC. When all is said and done, and whatever side of the fence (even those with splinters) would have to agree that the timing for this debate is terrible. I ultimately have my own personal agenda, and would like to sit in Block 45 or 46, I would like the away fans to my left, for the banter. I would like to sit there for practical reasons; the friend I go with has a disabilty, he loves being really involved with the banter and singing, he has difficulty walking and the nearer I can be to my car the better, I also love being sat in front of the vocal bunch behind me, they are brilliant as when they get going so do all of the people around me. If we could we would both love to get right in amongst it, but it would not be practical. In all seriousness, I think a lot of the visually impaired fans love being part of the Itchen North too. You really get a feel for what is going on in the game sat there, something that even than Radio Solent can't convey. My worst fear in all of this stealth re-design of the ground seating plan, is that they shove the visually impaired supporters into a quiet corner. It really would not read well to the PC brigade either. Also Mr Cortese, please don't shove us over into the Kingsland stand, it's hard enough to contend with Brittania Road some days, please don't send us into one of the least accesible areas of the ground, many disabled fans would struggle to cope with that railway bridge on a good day, let alone when we've parked on the Bitterne side of Brittania Road and you (or the police) close the north car park. Retract the decision please, consult with us customers who will be effected by this decision and then make a customer service based decision NOT a business one. They are after all, intrinsically linked. Cheers hamster

There's one in Boyatt Wood Baj, no idea if they are any good but if you spin them a line about running a website where you could give them a great write up, they will quite possibly do an A1 job. Don't forget to add that should they 'miss a bit' you will tell also. Try these: http://www.earthshine-valeting.co.uk/id66.html or the machine buff: http://www.earthshine-valeting.co.uk/id70.htm While you're at it, get us a discount will ya mate, 20% would be nice.

Parking fines are illegal, have a quick read of this: http://forums.pepipoo.com/lofiversion/index.php/t36894.html Although that is not a great example as the poster had parked in a blue badge bay, and we all know that that is the ultimate offence which should lead to public beatings. If caught of course

My first ever 'proper' gf smelt of Johnsons baby talc, to this day I think of her whenever I smell it. I hasten to add that she was 15 and I 14 before the vigilantes come a knocking. She was also head girl, which would have become obvious if you knew her as I did ;-)

Much as I love cheese, especially stinky strong cheddars, it is a proven fact that they cause headaches as they contain tyramine! Stay away from the tyramine, that's my advice.

I am with Jason here. When you consider that the reasons given are focussed on focussing the vocal support, then the club have got this completely arse about face. And not really that clever getting Kelvin involved imo either. If the club want more vehement support, then open the whole of the Itchen North. I personally would like the club to get us (Itchen North) into the Northam East section, being able to see the whites of the away fans eyes in the Itchen. I do however accept that this would upset and alienate some fans, and sad it may sound but I do care about my fellow fans feelings. Where is this leading? Why can not someone within the club be a bit more honest with this? Are you planning on moving the away fans to the Itchen North?

True story: A gay friend of mine had left his wife to move in with his boyfriend. A week or too later they were out shopping and discussing what to have for their dinner. They had not noticed the ex stood right next to them, until he felt an almighty thud as she hit him with a frozen chicken. "have a ****ing chicken" she screamed as she did it. This is true, hamster's honour, it happened in the CO-OP Sittingbourne, Kent about 21 years ago.

Jilly, is it the one about a letter to his wife?

I am touched that you (obviously) searched extensively for that info. He was a champion (said with a norhern accent) pigeon racer, thanks for asking. Nan used to have a right old time of it coaxing him down from their roof sometimes.

Baj, neither; council, parking enforcement officer, police officer can 'fine' someone. I am fairly confident in saying that a 'fine' can only legally be issued by a court of law. If your ticket says that it is a 'fine' then it is my understanding that you do not need to pay it. Check that smallprint too Baj, if they have a surcharge for paying by credit card, that is also unlawful. And it matters not whether you intend to pay by that method as if any part of the wording and/or details is unlawful then the whole thing is unlawful. I am sure some will think that you should pay up, but I disagree. These things may act as deterrent, but the charges are ridiculous and I one day hope that there is a ruling like the bank charges one that backs up the motorist on the matter. Check out that pepipoo site too Baj.

Try telling that to Nickh, I would welcome his thoughts on this matter.

OS - Northam for more saints fans/moving seats update

Clearly this will lead to moving all st holders next season. Itchen North will be for away fans I am sure. fwiw, the away fans can hardly hear the Northam singing anyway, you'd be surprised how quiet it osunds from the visitors section. They do however hear the Itchen lads (and lasses), When going full pelt there is no beter place to be heard from than Itchen North. I do hope that when they do make the switch I hope that all those from Itchen North get offered first dibs on the seats in blocks 46, 47 and 48. It will be brilliant, it is a pretty good view too, seriously, you will get to like it imo. The club could also use it as a good PR opportunity too. Why not offer st holders from blocks 1, 2, 3,and 4 past and present a 25% discount next season to make amends for all of the previous terrible treatment of the best bunch of Saints fans in the ground. We could still sing "we're The Itchen" imo too. -

Sorry if already done: -
I had a slightly unique view of the game today as I was sat in with the Gills fans, fulfilling a promise to my Gills supporting grandson. What a game I had, absolutely chuffed to bits. It was hard at times, but I did sort of forgoe my cover whe the third went in. You may have spotted some bloke jump out of his seat and punch the air, that was me. The bloke in front of us notised my massive smile, but just gave me a wink. I think the police officer at five feet away from us did too. He hardly took his eyes off me after that. Hade a good laugh with Grandson too, he said he didn't mind us thrashing them, as we need the points more, ain't that lovely? He didn't need me to tell him how crap Gills were today, and he said that Saints were brilliant and asked if that is what it was like all the time. "Not all the time" I told him, "but it's coming, it's coming". In a word (lol): Contented
