  1. Anyone travelling by train can get a free bottle of Coke if you buy a baguette with a voucher printed from here: http://www.bitecard.co.uk/BiTEMe!/bite_email2.html Bite Card's are free by the way and save you 20% from most food outlets at rail stations, so always worth having one in your wallet anyway. Offer runs until Sept 16th and no I don't work for them.
  2. Just found a link on the Martin Lewis website for a free sample of CarPlan Car Care Demon Shine: http://www.carplan.co.uk/index.cfm?page=60 (bottom of the page) Probably limited numbers but I know some of you love to polish your beasts, so get in quick.
  3. Someone MUST know the way it works and why we would choose to kick off rather than choose to ends.
  4. What are and how much are your cheapest set of clubs please Will? No need for a putter, woods or SW, just some irons.
  5. Never read a sensible answer as to why we always play the second half attacking the Chapel End. Anyone know why we do this? I think it should be changed, I really do.
  6. We weren't too bad against their set-play's today I thought, which is progresss surely. I ain't even had a drink yet and I'm starting to see a few +'s. It may not have been nice to watch, we got way too excited at the sending off. It was a good day to have a bad day if you know what I mean. It was there for the taking, the the ref and linesman on the Itchen side were poor. Even the chap who 'commentates' behind me got a few wrong, and he's usually very good.
  7. Agreed, and don't forget Kelvin, it's been a while iirc since he had such an easy game. I left the ground not feeling very positive at all, but am now starting to see that our defence did pretty well, a few wayward passes out of defence, but don't think Colchester troubled them as much as you'd expect from a 'top' team in this league. We let ourselves down imo, a golden opportunity to get an easy peasy win today, made easier with the red card, but only 2 points lost due to Colchester being rubbish (as I predicted earlier this week I might add). Still reckon we are an improving squad and predict that Colchester will struggle from what I saw today. Nice supporters though. btw my 4-0 prediction was tfic
  8. I thought that the defence communicated and moved to cover each other really well today. I particularly enjoyed seeing Thomas pushing up in the first half, although it proved fruitless.
  9. Who's in charge of first aid kit Mike?
  10. Is your mis-use of the semicolon an example of the mandertory error in a 'pedant alert' post.
  11. What, and have those dastardly plastic fans texting me fo tickets like last time? No thank you. I hope we get lower league opposition all the way to the final, then maybe a biggie like Huddersfield at Wembley for a real showpiece.
  12. Hope so Andy, I've missed the last few, so really need to burn a few calories off.
  13. Agreed dd, i understand it to some point, but simply cannot join in the pessimism. They (CUFC) are in a bit of a bad way imho.

    Where's Ho?

Bottom right, just about to do his dirty washing in public?
  15. Does your farther in law smell bad too?
  16. 4-0 Lambo 22(pen), 45, 75 Lallana 80 .....and the first throw-in... 60-120 secs. (I am NOT ITK) ;-) btw I am reserving judgement on Papa Waigo, don't quite subscribe to the current ****fest based on a player having a cool name and a youtube goal celebration.
  17. Just spent best part of an hour on there, wish we had fans on here with half his wit. Oh wait...we do...

  22. Make me an offer? btw, are they for yourself or a 'friend'?
  23. Probably been alluded to already but if the instructions at the time were for us to do this anyway, then the revealation is more palatable. If the manager is telling you to do this, then you are simply following instructions anyway. Insider trading at worst. I can't help wondering what the odds were for Mark Crossley to save that penalty? Anyway, John 8:7 (Google it).
  24. A chance for us all, including Pards, to see how good he is perhaps?
  25. I have just had it confirmad that Mrs hamster still has one of the first gifts I ever bought her from our courting days, a pair of 'silk' Saints french knickers.
