  1. Late 70's I returned home from visitiing Nanny 'Eastleigh' (couldn't pronounce her Polish surname as a baby, so Nanny 'Eastleigh' stuck to this day) with a plastic Saints duffle bag. It was 'ace'. When it was replaced with a cheap market stall Saints holdall a classmate decided to use it as a dartboard, a fight in the corridor ensued as did detention for us both. Contrary to the noramal accepted rules in fight circumstances, I never forgave him and to this day am not friends with Peter Blackwell -ex Upbury Manor Secondary School, Manor Road, Gilligham, Kent. ******.

    EDGE DS card

Hi gaz, how easy is it to back-up/play games onto this card, how many will fit and how easy is it to find new applications and new games for it please? I ask as I am thinking that my 10 yr old grandson may be interested, but would prefer it if he could do it himself (I know little of these DS machines myself) Just read some reviews and would like to ask for first refusal pending answers to questions above please? LV Saint, your comments would also be appreciated if you don't mind? Cheers
  3. Good job you added the winkey smiley thing skintsaint, else mrs hamster may have had to put a curse on yer. Although tbh, the town is the ****hole of Kent imho.... Charles Dickens was brought up there and liked it apparently!! Having moved there from his birthplace in Pompey, I suppose one would consider Chernobyl a nice place though.
  4. It sounds as though tehey can still sell players though. imho this could be doing them a favour in the long term, but will the likes of JT be gutted that he can't leverage even more money out of them next year based on new players being on more than him?
  5. Trial outcome £50 fine for ex BNP member Matthew Single who leaked the list. Police disapointed as cost of trial more than £50k. Still available online here for download: https://secure.wikileaks.org/wiki/British_National_Party_membership_and_contacts_list%2C_spread_sheet%2C_2007-2008 among many other locations, therefore I'm assuming no rules being infringed.
  6. Ask them to mark it 'GIFT ITEM'
  7. Didn't qualify: http://nationscup.mtnfootball.com/live/content.php?Item_ID=16382h Our gain. Jaidi though I think will get called up by Tunisia if he turns it on for us.
  8. to be honest and looking at the sellers (100% feedback btw) other items, if he was going to fake an autograph he'd have been better off doing Zidane's. Can I add that I think the figurines are not very accurste in scale, Matt's nose prob wouldn't fit in the box if it were.
  9. ..or the original HOT version;
  10. Your so brown, you wear the crown Hey Papa Hey Papa
  11. +1 terrible your/you're gaff. ROFLISTIC
  12. + ClubCard points which are worth 4 x their value in deals making their petrol well under a quid a litre, actually equates to nearer 90p a litre. Can't go wrong imo.
  13. 'Moron' is a bit strong I have to say tbf ss, but I do agree that every time I read him being referred to as "Smurf" I will hear that horrible Barron Knights song in my head and the red mist will descend. The Barron Knights = the worst thing to ever happen to the music industry
  14. £200k x 52 weeks. Doesn't that make an annual spend of just over 10 Mi££ion quid? Sounds pretty generous if true.
  15. Can't call him the smurf then, they is only 3 apples tall iirc.
  16. Is that to "I am the music man" tune? Could be a winner there benji.. He comes from Senegal He played in Seria A and he can play "Where cane he play?" He plays the left wing. Ohhhhhhhh... OomPah OomPah Oom Papa Oom Papa Oom Papa Or maybe from Oliver: Oom Papa Oom Papa That's how it goes Oom Papa Oom Papa Everyone knows When he starts scoring, he rips off his clothes Then we go Oom Papa Needs work perhaps
  17. +1, as recomended by my turkish barber, all others are immitations.
  18. Does come across as a bit of a non story as we won't even know who the opposition will be until after the closing date for feedback, let alone whether we'll be home or away. One thing that isn't clear either is whether they are setting the prices for every round or just IF we are home in round 2? btw, Colchester (Saturday's visitirs to SMS) were apparently not very good last night against Gillingham according to my sources. Gills were palying at a canter and caught napping for the equaliser. Gills showed some real mettle in coming from behind to win the penalties too, which interestingly come into play if the scores are level after 90 mins, NO extra time in the JPT this year. Simeon Jackson set to stay at Priestfiled too which surprised many within the club, there were a few raised eyebrows last week when he turned out for the Gills in the League Cup against Blackburn, he's now cup-tied in two competitions so although low key competitions it could knock a few quid off his value come January. Keeping Jackson, who is now basically playing as a lone striker, also bodes well for Paul Scally, as a lot of Gills fans don't trust the ex Millwal ST holder chairman. His partner up front Mark McCammon has only scored 20 goals in 6 seasons!!!! Colchester also played in front of Adie Boothroyd who will apparently (according to SSN) be unveiled as their new manager tomorrow. He's taking on quite a task imho, and I hope we make that clear to him on Saturday with our first win of the season.
  19. You bin on the stair rods again nick?
  20. I get mine to pass me the remote nowadays, even if it means calling them in from another room. The exercise is good for them. btw, central locking is imho a waste. most journeys involve only the driver entering or leaving the car, so why unlock all the doors in the first place? And all this flshy using the keyfob from 1000- yards (metres) is confusing too, why not lock/unlock it with the key when you are actually stood next to it?
  21. Oi! Take that back, take that back right now. I was born in Deal and it is without doubt the best seaside town in which to be born. There is as much (if not more) history in the litle town that there is in Southampton. Maggie tried to rip the heart out of the community by closing the pits and the RM barracks, but it survived and to this day flourishes. And you are correct Big John, Deal pier is the last pier to have been built in England and your reasoning is also spot on. Although not the prettiest, being of concrete construction, it has just had a new bistro built on the end and is once again the jewel in the crown that is DEAL. Go there for the Braderie on Sept 20th:and you will fall in love with the place: http://www.deal.gov.uk/Contents/Text/Index.asp?SiteId=328&SiteExtra=17174243&TopNavId=707&NavSideId=13878 Best pier fishing on the south coast too. I could go on.....

    Stair Rods

Is that really the name of said hotel Jilly or just your pet name for it? how's you anyway, nice wekend away?
  23. /\ I may even pop along to Priestfiled myself as I need to take GKs home some time this week, and it's only a tenner and kids go free.
  24. We are actually on gthe same points as we were last season after 5 games iirc, and we have team still settling this year so if we're aftrer positives, we only need to get that first win from the next 2 games to be doing better. I accept that last season was the worst in my time supporting Saints but we are still settling and finding our feet, whereas last time around we were on the slippery slope. Since we dropped from the PL, teams have susssed us out pretty early on and I think we need a spend a bit more time to suss THEM out this time around. League 1 is no place for current form either, forget yesterday's game, AP will be focussing on Colchester now. Take away their freak 7-1 against Norwich and they are only 3 points better than us. Alan should get himself down to Priestfiled on Tuesday for theie JPT match and kill 2 birds; check up on them and haive a discreet chat with Simeon Jackson in the car park. I reckon Paul Scally would be keen to chat earleir in the day too, witha view to Jackson being 'not available' for selection or the match. I reckon he
  25. Maybe he meant 7 MORE games?
