What would people consider would be the absolute worst case scenario come the start of season. If my club exists in any form, in any league, with any manager, with any players and playing on any football pitch anywhere, I will know that it could have been worse. I am starting to feel better and for the first time in a few years I have started to think that future generations of Saints fans, will hear stories of the day that Saints ALMOST dissappeared forever. We are priviliged as Saints fans today in that we are living through THE singlemost important days of this club's history since it was born in 1885 as Southampton Saint Mary's. I suppose the bloke must be insured but who would really want to lose their NCD when they can get the person responsobe to pay. Maybe they could claim negligence or recklessnes, I ain't a lawyer but if the police want witnesses they must have some sort of precedent. In all honesty, I lived in a road opposite a football pitch, I would expect the odd wayward ball coming over the fence. Stupid place to park imo.
