I saw Gaston play against Bournemouth - playing a deeper role than we've previously seen with Tadic in front of him. He was the puppet master - pulling all the strings , with everything coming through him and pure class. I've got a feeling that he is going to be a big player for us this season (And yes, part of that is hope) and that a few forum members will need to rethink their opinions of him

I couldn't disagree more. Ralphs job is not to make Morgan happy it is to protect the club. He played his ace card and did it very well. He basically threw Morgan under a bus by announcing that he would not be sold in such an unequivocal way, that would make his own position untenable if Morgan was then sold. What he did immediately took all the power from morgan and his agent, which is now why we are seeing the strops. Morgan will go in January, but not before. Once the transfer window closes and he has no other option, he will fall back into line and play until he is sold in January.... Or he can keep stropping and we don't sell him in January either.

So I will ask you the same question that I have asked others of your ilk ( Without response)..... With the exception of Leighton Baines who doubled his salary ..... please name me one player that the top four + Man Utd. Haven't got, that they have made a play for and that have been approached, but never went? MLT doesn't count. Over to you...............
