Suarez had 3 biting incidents whilst playing for Ajax, Liverpool and Uruguay. In all cases he was banned but his club/country were not penalised at all ! There is a natural separation between individual and team. In our case the club has already been punished so why a specific employee as well?? I realise that there are two authorities in play (EFL & FA) but don’t see why they can’t consider the full picture! That’s why I maintain it’s not comparable!

Difference being that the club did not receive a sanction, only him! Not remotely comparable 🤷‍♂️

The way I see it is that he works for the club, the club transgressed and has been severely punished! Whatever sanctions SFC wants to apply to employees is up to them! Anyway, it has rumbled on right into this season already and any further penalties will bite even deeper for us

A friend of mine had a place in La Manga which he put on the market. The estate agent turned up with potential buyers for a viewing. It was Kenny Dalglish and his wife although they never actually bought it !!

Came across quite a few over the years but the most Saints related was Jelle Van Damme who sat across the aisle from me on a flight from Brussels to Southampton! His English wasn’t great but we had a good chat, sadly it didn’t turn out to be a great move for either him or the club ! Denis Law joined our table for a drink at the Central Hotel in Glasgow which was a great highlight for me 💪

Apparently Carlo Ancelloti's son is now the favourite for that job....
