A friend of mine had a place in La Manga which he put on the market. The estate agent turned up with potential buyers for a viewing. It was Kenny Dalglish and his wife although they never actually bought it !!

Came across quite a few over the years but the most Saints related was Jelle Van Damme who sat across the aisle from me on a flight from Brussels to Southampton! His English wasn’t great but we had a good chat, sadly it didn’t turn out to be a great move for either him or the club ! Denis Law joined our table for a drink at the Central Hotel in Glasgow which was a great highlight for me 💪

Having never had value for my ST over many years now, I have decided to pack it in and get a membership ! I'm away for a couple of months every winter (in the southern hemisphere!) and have choir practice on Tuesday nights so the number of games I attend will be around 60% at best ! The other factor was my change of seat/block as I didn't want to sit directly beside the away fans ! Getting to the bus for the ferry has also been an issue ! All in all, it's not worth it although I actually prefer the Championship !

For me, the only thing that was "clear and obvious" was that it was not "clear and obvious" 😐 The PGMOL state that the referee is the final arbiter but in this (and many other cases!) the VAR bods basically made a subjective decision on their behalf ! Ps. I know that he went to the screen but by then they had already psychologically convinced him to change !!
