If you are not travelling till next Jan, just keep looking on a regular basis and you'll find that the fares do change (don't ask me why!). Jan is high season BTW! On average you may need to pay about £700 (BA, Virgin And SA are usually very similar) but my daughter only paid about £400 last year so you can get lucky ! Having done it many times, I suggest that you stick to the main direct airlines as the alternatives normally involve hidden costs and hassle! Fares to Joburg can be cheaper if you are prepared to build in a long car/train journey as part of your holiday but if it is just in transit, I don't think you'll gain anything ! HTH.

Agree totally, I can live with Brighton, Reading, Bournemouth and (God strike me down!) even the Skates, but ferking Torquay, Cheltenham and Plymouth ! Do me a favour !
