Given that we have had only one situation (in public at least!) I'm not sure that we can assume 'zero tolerance' ? Clearly Adkins perceives spirit and togetherness as critical to squad success and he is undoubtedly correct in this, but there are many ways to cajole and encourage those who may step outside the line ! Good man management should allow for some flexibility but in extreme cases (ie. Puncheon!) strong action has to be taken ! My guess is that he is smart enough to monitor the atmosphere in and around the building and only flex his muscles when necessary !

Purely based on my own ST, I saved £8 per match (I included the booking fee!) so this works out at 23 x 8 = £184. This alone encourages me to purchase, but other factors such as a) same seat every time b) priority for big games etc... add to the benefits ! The fact that 'pay on the day' tickets are much more expensive and incur a £3 booking fee indicates (to me at least!) that the club are actively trying to discourage this method rather than slow down the sale of ST's ! The counter argument goes against any sound knowledge of ecomomics ! As I mentioned before, £6million upfront or an unpredictable amount paid months later ? No contest !

I worked there for 13 years and lived as an expat for about 7 !! Thoroughly enjoyed it and never had any problems of note ! All of the tourist spots have already been mentioned as have visits to Gent, Bruges and Antwerp which covers more than you will achieve in a weekend ! Speaking English is absolutely no problem these days and public transport is cheap and easy ! Avoid the restaurants around the Grande Place as they are a bit of a rip-off ! Would suggest that you do NOT stay out near the Bruparck (Heysel) as it is too far from the centre and there is not so much to do !! Those who have called it a '****hole' clearly don't know the city very well or just had a bad experience, personally I think it's well worth a visit !

I refuse to believe that anybody with a financial background would ignore the possibility of around £6million (I've taken 15,000 x £400 as a guesstimate!) paid up front ! Pay on the day is unpredictable and much more difficult to plan for ! Sure mistakes were made last year but there is nothing to suggest that NC is financially naive !!

Saintsplayer has got the lot in real detail but you have to pay about £35 quid a year ! I would never contemplate this myself (as it's probably illegal!) but if you know someone who is signed up then ask for his user ID and password then your mate can watch it at his leisure !

I think we need a 'headline' signing first of all ( Michael Owen type or someone with huge respect in the game ?) as this would encourage other potential targets and show that we are seriously making a push for the big time ! The late Bob Paisley made fitness history and thorough medical reports a top priority before signing anybody ! His rationale was that 'you might be the best player in the world but you're no good to me lying on the treatment table' ! He actually tried to calculate how many games someone would manage in advance (which tbf was guesswork at best) ! I'm sure that Connolly and Holmes would not have gotten a look in under this principle so (putting compassion aside!) I think that the best they should hope for is a 'pay as you play' type contract and utilised as back up to similar/better quality replacements ! All IMHO of course !

Been to 18/23 home league games plus 4 in the cups, none away ! Without wishing to compete with other European based fans, when I lived in Belgium I kept on my ST and averaged 8/10 matches per season !!

I suppose it has been easier to enjoy Lge 1 as we will have gained 92 points (assume win tomorrow!) and scored over 80 goals along the way ! The championship will bring different challenges and undoubtedly be harder but coming to SMS to watch Leeds rather than Hartlepool or Poopey rather than Yeovil does tend to make the heart beat a little bit faster ! Bring it on........
