I shall be following the likes of Bury, Yeovil, Stevenage and Rochdale with great interest whilst we play the likes of West Ham, Leicester, Birmingham and the Skates ! Yeah, for sure :)

RIP Markus, a lovely man with a kind heart ! Your legacy is safe with us !

TBF this won't last, they will get in their allowed 5 loans soon but it won't stop them whining about being stretched with the smallest squad in the league ! At least they don't have to worry about the Carling cup anymore either !

That's Nicola's brother Samantha

I've heard him discuss the Oxo subject on so many occasions but in the 5live interview today he seemed a lot more guarded about it ! Hope I'm wrong but I just sensed that this time it was a bit different !
-
Is that an Aboriginal phrase ??
-
Won't answer direct question re. Oxo, sounds a bit ominous to me !!
-
Agreed, I reckon that they plucked somebody at random out of the crowd ! Surely they could find a local Saints supporting DJ or somebody with a bit of professional training at the very least ??

PHYSICAL PREPARATION : clearly with his background, he sees this as a priority! He emphasised throughout pre-season that they were using the 'science' available and it certainly showed yesterday ! CONTINUITY/BELIEF : he has backed his judgement that the impetus from last year's great run-in would continue and with only 2 additions (so far!) the team spirit is definitely at a very high level ! I realise that we've only played 1 game but, for me, these strengths should carry us forward and help us consolidate in what will no doubt be a rollercoaster ride ! Bring it on

Saints 3 - 1 Leeds, Post Match Celebration
eurosaint replied to Cascadia Saint's topic in The Saints
That was my first thought as well but (if you get a chance!) watch a replay, it was a brilliant fingertip save which pushed the ball on to the post, the shot was actually spot on target ! -
I got off a plane at Warsaw airport a few years ago and one of the first guys I saw was wearing the blue away kit from the kevin Phillips time ! I approached him for a chat but he couldn't understand a bl##dy word I was saying ! Must have nicked it I suppose !

There was obviously a serious bond developing there

"Anyone ever take a dump at the Dell" ? Why not include St Mary's ? You are leaving out a whole new generation here ! Great thread BTW :)

I noticed on Sky sports news last night in the Chelsea 'players out' section that Cork was sold for £750k. As far as I know Saints said 'undisclosed' but in any case that seems to be a pretty good deal for an in-demand young midfielder ! If we get similar money for Puncheon (as is being mooted!) then the books are being niicely balanced ! It is also maybe a reason why our transfer dealings seem so protracted but at least the club is getting the best possible value ??
-
Been in it 3 times today, no probs !

According to the 'sale of goods' act, the retailer is always directly responsible to the customer (if you buy a jumper from M&S you don't have to consider the factory in China!). If the club were doing their best to rectify the problem, surely they would have made some sort of statement/apology on their official site or in the press ? I'm afraid that when 'bad news' is around they either bury it in the small print (as in the change of 60+ concessions!) or just ignore it ! For all that is good about the club at the moment there are still areas that could be seriously improved IMO !

So you sold players for £75mil and soon after went under with unpaid debts of around £100mil !!! Most people would smell a rat here, but you seem to think that all was hunky dory ! And you wonder why we refer to you as 'thick Skates' !
-
There are 3 options : a) You are incredibly naive ! b) You are in denial ! c) You are a thick Skate ! I think I'll go for 'c' !
-
20% over 4 weeks, except for the Red Cross who get f#ck all
-
I realise that it is only a minor detail to you, but having gone down the pan owing over £100 million within 2 years of this historic cup triumph, do you honestly feel that it was 'affordable' or are you really too thick to comprehend this ??? Ps. please don't answer, as your response may incite further vomit inducing reactions from those of us who (unlike you!) are not in denial !!

Barney's goal to seal the win v MK ! Coming back from 2 down, it was the 'defining moment' and kicked off our great run-in to promotion ! COYS
-
If you can afford a quid a week, then get it ! Sure, some people will give you negative comments, but overall you will see every goal from Saints games, can listen to every commentary and quite a lot more on top ! No brainer IMHO.
