The only 'tired' aspect yesterday was his after match interview but TBF he is changing course from blaming refs to now blaming the fixture lists ! It's quite amazing the impact that a newspaper interview has on a fan's forum ! Every word is dissected, every opinion becomes stronger and more entrenched when others disagree ! Before the web took over the world, these conversations were held down the pub with your mates and (with the real benefit of body language!) never seemed to get so out of hand ! Some call it progress, I suppose !

Give the guy credit though, he is resilient and never gives up ! My guess is that when his Russky saviours start defaulting on the CVA (???) he'll still find a hidden link to suggest that it was all 'kosher' and willingly agreed by the creditors ! So they bought the club with the CVA, the charity debts, the sh#tty ground, etc, etc.... That is exactly my point - if you genuinely want involvement in English football, fine, but why take the club with the most complicated/dodgy scenario in the country ! (I only mentioned Sheffield and Bristol because they are big cities, but clubs like Reading and Wigan are for sale as are plenty of other better buys!) The suspicion that there could be a connection to former owners lingers like a bad smell (probably similar to the one down Farton way I would guess!).

If Mr Ho HO could offer a convincing argument as to why these two wealthy Russians chose to purchase Pompey over the many other alternatives (big city clubs from Bristol or Sheffield for example!) then I would start to listen ! The fact is that no respectable bidders came forward to take on the CVA, the charity debts, the fraud charges, the sh#tty ground, etc, etc, etc..... Surely eyebrows are raised by the fact that they are Russian (IMO the Gaydamak connection refuses to go away!) and have had some serious accusations laid at their door in the past ! I do understand why the Few are desperate for it to work out, but the owners stated reasons for buying the club are as paperthin as their squad ! They've seen them play a couple of times in a half empty relic of a stadium, win only once, and are now 'addicted', doesn't really take much does it, eh ?? Personally I am happy that these guys, along with Clotterill and Lumpit are at the helm of the ship, it just means that this thread will continue ad infinitum !!!
