Assuming that all the assumptions you make are dependent upon injuries, form, formation, suspensions etc.. you may be right but you may also be wrong ! Went there a number of years ago and loved it ! There are slopes for all different levels of skiing ability and the place was great (the bar half way up the mountain was a real highlight with people regularly dancing on the tables etc.. brill !). http://obergurgl.com/main/EN/GG/WI/index.html I couldn't find/remember the hotel we stayed in but it was right in the centre of the village very close to the ski lifts ! I only have positive memories of the holiday and reckon that it was the best resort we went to (been to quite a few in total !). HTH.

There is as much chance of getting a statue of Ali Dia as there is of MLT at this moment in time ! Bridges need to be built between him and Cortese and there is no sign of that right now !

Pardew served us well when we needed it badly, his first season saw a major rebuild of the first team and the scouting system (I understand we actually didn't have one when he arrived!). The 'but' is, (and I'm sure that Cortese recognised this!) he wanted to run the club in his own image ! His single minded approach clearly differed from that of Nicola and Markus so there was an impasse ! Nigel is a natural 'team player' and has embraced the ML/NC philosophy, this harmony has borne fruit and can be seen in performance and results ! With the great benefit of hindsight, it is difficult to argue that Nicola made anything other than a good decision !!

The clear priority is to sign a quality CB ! The alternatives (as proposed on here!) should be last resort and only used during matches as emergency solutions !

The target is the Premier league ! The strategy is to build a solid foundation ! The mindset is to take each game as it comes ! The motivation is there ! The morale is high ! It's pretty clear to me that we are in good shape and see no need for Cortese to clarify or amend his long term (5 year!) plan !!!!

I quite like Soccer Saturday, Jeff Stelling is brilliant at what he does and with the footballers (including Merson!) you get what you see and you see what you get ! TBF they have never been the most articulate bunch but they know the game and, for me, it comes across as such ! Also (for an ex-Skate) Merson was not in any way derogatory about Saints yesterday and actually said that he was glad that he had been allocated our game as it was so entertaining ! The 'De Ridler' bit was funny and they all took the p#ss, so no problem ! It's easy to moan about broadcasting but (if taken in the right spirit!) this programme is both informative and amusing ! All IMHO of course !

Shame, spoke to my brother who was at the game (Leicester fan!) and he reckoned that we were unlucky ! No panic, new CB, onwards and upwards !

They changed the rules at the beginning of this season and now you are able to utilise anybody from your named 25 man squad ! This definitely applies in the Premier league so I guess that (whether it has been formalised or not) the FL would go along with it too ! The ridiculous scenario of Wolves and Blackpool being fined and Man U and Arsenal not, was clearly the trigger for this change !

The problem there and in nearby Muizenburg beach is that there are shelves in the sea where the level drops from one or two metres to very deep ! The great whites can come up suddenly from the deep and attack in the shallower part ! This is what happened last February with a Zimbabwean guy ! Apparently it is not natural aggression, more opportunism or mistaken identity (for a seal!) but pretty f#cking deadly nonetheless ! Personally I tend towards paddling rather than surfing on my regular visits there !!
