A good summarry of the QPR situation IMO but I wouldn't want to follow that route ! If we are more like Reading (when Madjeski first took over) that would be a far better example for us ! A solid management team (Pardew, then Coppel) sensible buying (Doyle, Hunt etc..) great football, runaway CCC champions and into the PL, that'll do for me except I don't fancy the relegation that followed 2 years later !!

I was absolutely gutted to lose BWP, Euell and Skacel as they personified the 'spirit of Southampton' and were so committed to the club in every way ! Now I am led to believe that we have become a 'selling club' because of this, I am even more horrified ! Surely the new owners should have insisted that we break the bank to keep them even before taking over ?? Whatever can they do next to break our hearts ????

I think that too many people are writing Perry off ! Sure Lancashire is gash but CP reads the game exceptionally well, is good alongside a big, commanding CB and is absolutely a vital squad player IMHO !!!
