The figure that was quoted in a number of newspapers was £3 million and (given the short length of his outstanding contract) I reckon that would have been top whack then ! If he were to leave in January it would probably be around £1 million and in the summer £zero !

Have to disagree on that one, Toby was calm throughout and never put a foot wrong while Jose played with his usual robust approach. Sure, QPR came at us late on but I thought that we withstood it well. Only problem seemed to be that we sat too deep during that period but I guess that was a team thing rather than just a CB issue ! All in my own opinion of course !

Absolutely this ! No individual is bigger than the club and the most recent departees thought only of themselves, not the club ! Coming back is seldom a good option anyway but I would rule it out regardless !!
