And if we don't .... How will you feel then ?
We lost a match which we dominated, we had at least 4 key players missing and they'll be back soon !
We have overachieved so far this season and some of the hysterical reaction on this thread is pitiful !
All IMHO of course !
IMO if you get the ball first then it isn't red, surely the object of the excercise is to win the ball above all else ?
If deemed reckless then a yellow is sufficient !
Ps. I have always maintained this view, not just because of this incident !
I think the situation changed quite markedly today !
Pelle is a red card or an injury away from leaving us strikerless !
Not going to be easy but maybe Ron can magic someone up from the Dutch league (or anywhere for that matter) !
Ipswich - they sent a paper ticket !
Palace - they put it on my smartcard !
Not sure what the policy actually is but would prefer if they stuck to one system for the sake of clear understanding !
Just bought mine online and it was spot on (for a change!), amazingly there was no booking charge unlike the Ipswich tie, I really don't know what the policy is as it seems to change match by match !
Always the pessimist (40 odd years a Saints fan !) - 6th
Only due to our small squad and inability to cover injuries and suspensions !
Sincerely hope I'm wrong !
I thought that our players not only defended well but honestly, had they strayed for a second inside the box I'm convinced that they'd have been punished !
It's already been said that you 'never get anything up there' and fortunately we never gave the officials a real opportunity to nail us !
That's another reason why it was such a momentous victory !
This is true but the reason I started this thread is because yesterday it was blatantly one way and so bl**dy obvious that a blind man at midnight could not have missed it !
Sadly Dowd chose to ignore it for his own reasons !
Legally you are entitled to a refund if the goods are 'not fit for purpose' ie. falling apart !
'replica' only means the same design and appearance of the players kit, therefore there is no comeback on this issue !
Hth.
For me it is a blight on the beautiful game and clearly it does not apply at Old Trafford, at least where Smalling is concerned !
I thought that refs had been instructed to stamp it out, clearly not !!
One thing that often perturbs me is the fact that some of these Arab nations use their vast wealth to buy football clubs and needless (obscene!) luxuries ahead of using it to foster peaceful resolutions in their own backyard !
I don't say this as a criticism of your post Phil but reckon that the £1 billion spent on Man City could very easily have been better used to build schools, hospitals etc.. in the region !
