  1. The **** has dogged us for years.
  2. Looking forward to defeating West Ham and going on to tweak the noses of the Liverpools and Manchester uniteds of the league in the run-in. All the makings of a splendid last third of the season. We could soar up the table and even Everton are looking like heading into a bad run. Up the Saints!
  3. What ****es me off about Webb is his self-regarding demeanour.
  4. Funnily enough, I just came back from the opera, but in contrast, I concentrated splendidly, not being particularly troubled by our vapid performance and exit from a dying cup.
  5. I am curiously unmoved by this tepid exit of the Cup. I was enthralled and converted to football and Saints in 76, aged 9, but the Cup has died as a competition.
  6. ooh aaah Eric Cantona Trawlers, fish, gulls....
  7. You can't grumble at that table.
  8. This Arse-Manu game is utterly dire. And as for the commentary team....give me strength.
  9. The forthcoming close-season: Top priority is to secure Pochettino here. The rest simply follows from that.
  10. Indeed. Which makes the decision to risk it all on a proven narcissist like Osvaldo seem even more odd than it did at the time. This is a golden era for Saints, no mistake.
  11. Man Utd are now in our sights.
  12. Superb. We are better away than at home this season.
  13. Yippe leapfrog the toon!!!!!!!
  14. We missed too many chances this season.
  15. Poch will sort it out at half-time, and we will be rampant.
  16. Read between the lines, Batters.
  17. mmm....you'd have thought the rewards of the Premier league were large enough to discourage lapses in concentration.
  18. Stoke seem to haunt us for decades, we really need to exorcise their spell on us.
  19. Stoke are never a push over.
  20. It would need to be a Hoddle-Drewery partnership though.
  21. Oxlade?
  22. At least Palace' fans mAke a bit of noise, even if they do appear a little 'German' in style. Emirates well peppered with empty seats as usual.
  23. Beat me to it - shocking atmosphere, but I've noticed this is an endemic problem presently.
  24. Not really got an opinion on Fulham going down, but I think Millwall would be welcome to grace the premier league. Last time they were in the top flight they took huge away followings, 4-5000, and created a splendid atmosphere.
