I'm only posting the way I saw things. I'm one of the most optimistic people on here, and still think we will go up, but that is the only reason I can explain the players lack of interest in the second half.

Bad sportsmanship to not even shake hands with your opponents though.

Even I have my criticisms of Pardew sometimes, but his transfer dealings since he's been with us have been superb. The only one I would possibly question was Mellis, and even he created a couple of goals for us.

I don't know, but I can't think of any other explanation for the players getting out so late, looking so demoralised after such a strong first half, and a couple of them leaving the pitch bang on the final whistle.

Personally I think he said something to the players at half time that royally p*ssed them off. They all came back out in the second half with their heads down looking like they didn't want to be there, and at the final whistle Butterfield and another player I couldn't recognise went straight down the tunnel without shaking hands with the opposition or anything.

I booed, and yet I still think we will go up. There was no excuse for that second half performance after looking so strong in the first.

Karl Pilkington in charge of a mediocre side? Good chance of it IMO. I might be wrong, but I think their form in the second half of the season would have seen them right down there if carried over the whole 46 games.

Well as SNSUN said we were favourites before the JPT final, which made a lot of people on here nervous, but we won that comfortably.
