Plenty of people have been able to debate sensibly on this thread, so even if the OP was hunting for a reaction it has backfired on him. As has already been said - twice - if you don't like a thread, don't post on it.

4-5-1 worked better last season because we had pace in the side. As for Adkins comments - he is going down in my estimation the more I hear him speak. Churning out the same phrases over and over without really making a point. Listening to Pardews interviews was interesting and insightful, listening to Adkins just winds me up. As for this; Sorry, but that is a load of waffle. Of course the formations was set up to try and win the game, but it didn't work - so there WAS an issue with it.

What a contradiction. What teams do you know that dominate the majority of games they play? Besides, I disagree with your general point - I think we dominated a lot more games than just the obvious 5 goal spankings.

Always annoys me when people say that. 4-3-3 to me means 4 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 strikers. So it wasn't.

If you don't care about what someone is saying or you think they are just trying to get a reaction, then why not ignore what they've said and NOT give them a reaction.

Biggest difference between our attacking style and other teams i've noticed this season is that when we get the ball we pass it sideways before going forwards, whereas other teams grab the ball, turn and RUN towards the opposition goal. We have the players to do this, so why don't they?
