Well that's not true, as watching the old United games and the Arsenal game on DVD it sounds exactly the same as it does now. Maybe years and years ago it was faster (I thought faster was worse?) but to say that it changed because we came to St Marys is a bit silly.

Don't think a reason was ever given for the Drogba deal falling through. It was Adebayor who Lowe thought had an attitude, because he wanted £1500pw in the Prem as a youngster and he wasn't prepared to give him that.

I still maintain he would have done very well in this league.

Lambert has played in 50 of those 52 games, FWIW. One of them he was at Rovers so he's played 51 games so far this season.

Tbf it's always been reported that he didn't WANT to go, he was just our most valuable asset at the time...
