Indeed, I think it was Adebayor who Lowe didn't like. He wanted higher wages and Lowe only wanted to give him something like £4k a week.

As I said in the other thread, he'll get over it. I have no doubt that Wards wage demands would have been massive, and if the rumours are true and there was an underlying problem discovered in his medical, then we are better off with a young, highly sought after player with experience of WINNING.
