I think James is quality - in midfield, where his average pace doesn't really make a difference. At RB though he does struggle on the defensive side of things, which is why I would like to see Thomas there for the time being. I think a new RB is needed in january though, as we can't keep saying "they'll do a job till Murty gets fit again".

The main thing that impresses me about him is that he has pace and a willingness to run to the byline. Only being 19 he still has time to improve his technical side of the game, but his mentality is fantastic already (or is was before he was double subbed).

Erm that was sarcasm from me mate. He ran away from the ball, leaving it to an Exeter player, and didn't even try to tackle a bloke down on the byline but just pulled his shirt off him. Not to mention the few sliced clearances straight to Exeter lot. He has been solid most of the time, but he was f*cking awful today.

Can't agree with you there mate, he didn't settle at all in the first half but looked alright in the second. If you're looking for a MOTM, look no further than Chris Perry - he had both strikers in his back pocket all game long. Best performance from a CB so far this season IMO. And Jaidi was just rested, along with Thomas, I think.

Morgan looked a lot better in the second half.
