I think that's the key thing. He was academy DIRECTOR, but Henderson was always the U18s coach.
Wotte ran the reserves, so that is the only position that needs filling.
To be honest, i'd rather see Svensson as reserves coach....
He's got a 50% success rate with those players IMO.
However, it kind of dispels the whole "Jan new he was the English Arjen Robben" and "Jan raids his old stomping ground" stories which the club have put out regarding Holmes and Saejis respectively.
I doubt it. When we played Leeds a couple of years ago and we were the featured match - due to them being close to admin and going down - they showed about 4 interviews.
Precisely.
Which brings us back to the fact that with Pearson as manager, we all felt united and there would be at least another 2-3000 in the ground regardless of results. If we were doing well (which under Pearson I think we would be) then we would be getting nearly 25,000.
Well I always got the impression that Jan never payed much attention to the defensive side of things in his coaching, so this makes perfect sense to me.
One of Svenssons best attributes is his reading of the game, which CAN be taught IMO.
