  1. When Pearson was here I really felt things were on the up again. Now, I don't even want to put what I feel into words....
  2. There's that patronising attitude again.
  3. So 16,000 predicted by me was actually too generous. "Don't be ridiculous, we will get more than 16k FFS".....
  4. I laughed to be honest.
  5. He may well sack him, but he will most likely say "he wasn't the right man for this set up" and will carry on with his "revolution".
  6. Lowe has been planning this set up for a fair few years though.
  7. I am fairly certain it was offside. Not taking anything away from the terrible performance, but lets be honest after the goal we crumbled - and I am sure it was offside. Yes, it deflected off a Saints player on the way through, but when the ball was played (which is the FAs "official" ruling) the bloke who scored was miles offside.
  8. I know Mark Long and he usually gets things right, but if he made the decision for no police presence then it's a massive error of judgement.
  9. I can honestly say i've never felt this bad before. And with Lowes arrogance standing in the way, I can't see any way for it to get better.
  10. Nope, twas a tactical change. He even admitted it post-match.
  11. Apparently he thought we weren't good enough in midfield. Personally, i'm of the opinion that quantity is no substitute for quality, but meh.
  12. At the full time whistle there was about three lines of 30 stewards in each line. If the Chapel had suddenly grown a pair then the stewards would have been fooked.
  13. Just me, or was he f*cking awful today?
  14. Saga scoring, we were actually playing 4-4-2. Now all JP needs to learn is how to play wingers on their natural sides.
  15. Biggest mistake was not having the vision to see how much spending a bit of money after the cup final would have improved our club for the long-term.
  16. I was angry at the board, the players and the manager until I looked around at the fans. I saw people kicking off in the itchen; I saw two blokes kicking off just in front of me in the Kingsland; I saw numerous people kicking off in the Northam, and it just made me feel sad about how divided our club has become under Rupert Lowe. I would also like to say that the way the stewards dragged a YOUNG TEENAGE BOY out of the Northam, nearly breaking his arms in the process, was utterly disgusting. I was all for rushing the pitch and not leaving for a good few hours, but unfortunately it looked like I would have been on my own at the full time whistle, and didn't fancy getting my own arms broken.
  17. I'd buy the bit of concourse just behind the dug out, otherwise you would have far too much room.
  18. Socom and Resi 5. w00t!
  19. I believe there is no god, would I be justified if I refused to drive a bus with an advert for Christianity on it?
  20. The 2012 Olympics and (probably) the 2018 World Cup in England.

    A plea

It happens so often now that I have learnt to just ignore it. However, it really isn't that hard to spell his name right - they MUST have read it in a paper or programme or on the OS once since he signed for us.
  22. There were slogans on the buses down here about two years ago saying "Let Jesus into your life". I didn't pay any attention. Any Christians who are complaining about this should ask themselves if their faith is so weak that they would be swung by such an off the cuff remark as this anyway.
  23. I noticed that at the Forest game, there were many people at Ladbrokes at full time picking up their winnings. Personally I think it's disgusting, and I would never bet on Saints to lose, but each to their own.
  24. I agree it will be tough, but we cannot say with any certainty it will happen. Forecast may turn out to be better.
