Really? Ken Dulieu was chairman the summer we spent £7million we didn't have, and Michael Wilde was in charge in the summer we signed Thomas, John, Euell etc on ridiculous wages. The only time Crouch has been in charge was in the period just after Lowe first left and when Dulieu/Hoos/Hone etc took over, and in the second half of last season. And let's not forget that in january last season we loaned out Rasiak and Skacel, two of our highest earners, in order to try and reduce the outgoings.
