I've often thought that, despite what the management would have you believe, many teams in this league play good football. Even the likes of Barnsley passed it around well on occasions.

A youngster who will barely have watched us this season praises us, when an experienced player and pundit who also happens to be a Saints legend says we need to stop the experiment now. Who do you listen to?

He's a decent player who happens to be a pr*ck, with no loyalty and no guilt about the fact he cost us promotion. Where strong characters would stick around and make up for their mistakes, he f*cked off as soon as he could.

I still wonder whether Capello will ever play him again.

We have also signed some good players over the years. FACT. We have also sold some injury prone rubbish over the years. FACT.

I'm surprised Terry took the blame, as he did exactly the same thing in the first half and James was right on the edge of the box ready to pick it up. Carson was a full metre (at least) away from the 18 yard line when the ball came into the box.

IMO it would be better having Perry or Lancashire in that sweeper role if we're going to go down that route, as Svensson is known more for his crunching tackles than his ability to calmly play the ball out of defense.

Just re-watched the interview on the Give It To Ron website, and i'm choking up. If anyone hasn't watched it yet, then do so now.

Downing was unbelievable, as was Carrick and Upson. Am I the only one who thinks that, apart from hitting the post, SWP only ever seemed to run into a defender?

So, so true. I'm not sure whether i'm disappointed or glad I can't get my hands on these f*cking people.

Bent and Richards could play up front and at RB respectively.
