People would have said the same thing about these Newcastle players. This side isn't hugely different to the one that was nearly dead and buried and relegated before Howe came in. All of our players at some point have shown individual quality and turned in good performances. A good manager could get us to upper midtable I have no doubt about that.

That's exactly how he's playing, he is not in the right back position or anywhere near it.

There's a reason you don't see much of it in the Prem anymore, defenders are a lot better than they used to be and you don't have any dominant physical centre forwards.

He's playing RWB which for us is essentially right wing.
