Mane will be back in a few weeks, Mayuka hadn't been injured at the time of the interview and Elia looks physical enough to do a job up top IMO. We will be looking at another striker in the summer that's almost definite, but we're not about to spend beyond our means.

I wonder what he considers to be young, as that can mean anything from 16 to 25 these days.
-
And you've got just as much evidence for that as Tamesaint has for his theory, i.e none at all.
-
Still think he's got the potential to be a good player for us. The 3 at the back, 2 up top formation means that there's still a chance, but with Mane and Long it's only a slim one.

Recently, yes...only Ashley Young injured at the moment I believe. Starting to have an effect perhaps? -
Good god, Andy Gray is still our groundsman? Fair play to him! Didn't realise he was a Saints fan as well.

For Clyne, to 'free from desire' - Our boy nathaniel, you can't stop nathaniel clyne Our boy nathaniel, you can't stop him down the line Our boy nathaniel, he'll get past you every time, Our boy nathaniel... Na na na na na na na, na na na, na na Repeat.

Yeah, there were still loads of seats available when the rest of the stadium was close to selling out which means the "hardcore" QPR support doesn't really use the lower School End.
-
Doesn't affect me in the slightest, but I don't see why people had such a huge problem with it. You know it's going to be there, so how offended can you really get if you buy it and find boobs on page 3?
-
Well first and foremost i hope he's ok and hasn't got himself hurt somehow.
-
Don't, I nearly cry with laughter whenever I see that. How could they not see that it looks like a kids toilet...
-
Thought for a while now that he'd end up retiring due to this. Crikey. It was from nothing as well, not even contact from another player.
-
Oopsie, oh well, nevermind. Unbelievable.
-
Just a heads up, there's LOADS of tickets available, especially in the lower stand of the school end.
-
Signed well before the Liebherr era though, back in 2006.
-
Ah i was thinking of Pahars as up front still, should have thought about it more carefully.
-
He's edited his post to say Via Saints site, so he'll be a Palace fan in the home end.
-
Looking at this it looked like he played at left back; http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/4906698.stm Weird that McGoldrick started, 3 seasons before he became a regular starter under Poortvliet. He definitely played for us, at home to Wigan maybe?

Unbelievable. How old was the son, i'm guessing under 18 and so the money was left in his mothers care or something...? -
Guessing it was recently and she's not looking as good in her 40s.

Nigel Adkins - second anniversary of his sacking
Saint_clark replied to Badger's topic in The Saints
The first season he was at Southampton Cortese raved about him in an interview, saying what a fantastic job he was doing. So something happened between promotion to the Championship and the final few months of the next season that changed his mind. Any ideas? Did Adkins make any monumentally awful decisions in games in the Championship season that cost us points? I guess Cortese thought that having been top of the league for so long to let it slip away was pretty poor, and indeed had we won the game at home to Reading we WOULD have finished top. -
I'm one of the three but I don't think his passes go astray often OR that he's been performing badly, quite the opposite. But i've noticed that almost every game he's caught in possession because he's held onto the ball too long. But as I said, other than those instances his performances are still brilliant and he'd still be in the team every week for me - just needs to cut out the moments where he dawdles on the ball under pressure.
-
What a strange way to phrase it.

Excellent player, and very consistent, but the OP is right. Davis has given the ball away on quite a few big occasions recently, and it has led to a goal at least once at home to City. He's still been very good in these games but it's something he never used to do, and it's very odd that it's suddenly crept into his game.
