  1. The management of the club have changed. We haven't.
  2. But less than 14 games (935 minutes in total!) as that apparently was "too much football" last season.
  3. No, but the news out the club was that he'd told them he'd refuse to play if we didn't let him talk to Liverpool.
  4. Saints are on fire, Polystar Plastics terrified...
  5. Yeah fair point. Hopefully the plan is to keep using Armstrong on the right wing. We played him on the left before in the Prem and he wasn't particularly effective.
  6. Now he doesn't, but he was signed as a striker.
  7. "canistrum ultra-exactionem cancri"
  8. My favourite quote from that article;
  9. I agree. What's that got to do with him as a player today?
  10. I always thought it was a rule now that you had to have plain backs but apparently it's not? Why do so many clubs do it?
  11. The first sign of a top 6 club being interested in him he was signing their shirts while he was still our captain, less than a year after signing a bumper new 5 year contract with us.
  12. West Ham I think will struggle. They've traded their manager for one who I'm not convinced is any better solely off the fact he managed Real Madrid for 5 minutes.
  13. No, but he did rely on being agile and twisting and turning a lot which probably contributed to his long list of injury problems - and will only get worse as he approaches 40 years old. Seriously, if people were against the idea of Fonte coming back at 38/39 who was fit as a fiddle his entire career at centreback, who was a consummate professional, I can't believe there are people OK with taking a 36 year old Lallana who has always struggled with his stamina and fitness who's main piece of advice for youngsters would be take the move to a bigger club as soon as you can.
  14. I mean he's 26 so not that young 😂
  15. Been a fan of him for a long time, would absolutely take him.
  16. Yeah I thought that's what it was, but that just reinforces my point. All he did was land face down on the ground and he managed to dislocate his shoulder. Not even sure he's as sturdy as glass.
  17. Absolutely not. Brooks was great in a couple of games but inconsistent and that was at Championship level, but the reason to avoid signing him again was just how fragile he is. Watch his injury in the final - all he does is fall over forwards and he seriously injured his arm/shoulder. Really sad for him but I honestly don't think I'd even take him on a free.
  18. Love the shot of the fans from the far end of the stadium during freed from desire.
  19. Yep, he can come in and tell all our quality youngsters that when an opportunity to move comes along you take it because you don't know when another one will come. Oh and also you should definitely get your agent to contact Liverpool, special club them.
  20. Not sure Adams has any intention of staying watching him in the post match again. Not just the lack of enthusiasm but also turning his shirt around so his name is facing the cameras instead of the badge...don't like that.
  21. Stadium enlargement you said? @Matthew Le God to the main board please!
  22. Anyone that thinks we should sign Brooks should rewatch the extended highlights. The guy is made of glass, he falls over and causes a serious injury to his shoulder. Couple that with the fact he's had a couple of very good performances but mostly innocuous, I wouldn't be spending any money on him. Wish him the best though.
  23. Probably more an Ollie Lancashire kind of role, will play in the under 21s and coach at the same time.
  24. Considering their relegation not the best idea to be posting this. Their fans in the replies not too happy.
