  1. Ohhh he meant Januzaj. I thought he was referring to Kagawa and couldnt believe what i was reading
  2. So if Lallana stays here for his entire career and is fortunate with injury, could wind up being second on the all-time appearance list.
  3. People seem to think that just because Bale turned into an attacking player that every decent left back can now do the same.
  4. This is another reason I want us to keep Shaw...I don't want to sell off our homegrown players for big money and then get in cheaper foreign alternatives.
  5. What visible actions would show that we're not selling anyone? For that to be proven we'll have to wait until the summer window is shut.
  6. Are you suggesting he'd buckle? Nothings fazed him so far.
  7. Yep, and he clearly hasn't worked at all other than the one or two hours it would have taken for his interviews to date. Maybe we should get 24 hour webcams set up in the offices at St Marys so people can see exactly how many emails, faxes etc. he's sending a day.
  8. People go on about the time it took Ferguson to get results, but wasn't there also a sh*t manager before him who did nothing for a season and got sacked? Maybe the next United manager will be the doozy.
  9. SOME footballers, most likely. I really don't believe there is widespread drug use in professional football nowadays.
  10. Yeah they would have said Premier League club, it sounds better. Obviously just a big clubs in the Championship (or a small one that's been in the Prem recently, Wigan or Blackpool etc).
  11. I can't believe people are so hung up on getting our money back - it's not going to happen! His value has dropped over the last year and even if it hadn't, he will do more harm than good here. £7million is actually more than I was expecting to get for him.
  12. Absolutely i would take £7million.
  13. That's an awful example as Chamberlain is a key player for them. This lad however could be playing in the prem for us in two years time. If he signs for them he'll be loaned out in two years time.
  14. Thought he'd given a pen at the end there, sure I heard a whistle blow. Gallagher and Lambert didn't anticipate the pass enough for me, a few occasions they started running after the ball was played.
  15. Maybe it is the best it's going to get, but it's a stretch for me to afford a season ticket. If we're not going anywhere then I'd rather save the money and watch streams. Not my fault - I'm just not earning enough to afford it really.
  16. This is very well documented now. Not a mental thing - it's down to our style of play. We play a patient passing game, which suits an opposition with a goal or 2 head start. Pochettino seems to have realised this as we had a plan B against Cardiff.
  17. Not suggesting that at all, but for me I cannot afford to shell out the better part of a grand to watch a season where nothing out of the ordinary is going to happen.
  18. "A few"? Or "Every season"? Bit of a difference. To be honest if we're settling for mid table I probably won't renew beyond next season, far too expensive now. Only reason I'm renewing this season is on faith that they're planning to keep all our players and push on...
  19. No, he gets a f*ck ton of praise. His comment about Messi is ridiculous as he simply isn't as good as him.
  20. Amazing. Well done both. As already said, the likes of Ramsay and Sturridge shouldn't be included in young player - and I also don't agree with one player being on both lists. But hey ho.
  21. I think Marshall is being overrated, people have said he's been putting in these outstanding performances all season...but it was only a month or so ago that he started getting rave reviews.
  22. That quote two posts up sounds to me like we'd decided he wasn't good enough and this loan was his chance to prove himself.
  23. Who is Drmic? And I'm not sure about signing two players from a side as abysmal as Cardiff, even if they have performed better than the rest. I'd rather we sign performers from higher up, like Davies from Hull. As for Keeper, I'd go for Forster from Celtic - he needs to play in the Prem to get the England jersey that he deserves. By the way I don't agree at all with having Clyne as first choice left back. As a stand in he's fine but it should never be permanent. I don't think Shaw will leave anyway.
  24. Ahhh ok, cheers. Well thats gone down by a fiver! W00t for price reductions
