  1. Thought he'd given a pen at the end there, sure I heard a whistle blow. Gallagher and Lambert didn't anticipate the pass enough for me, a few occasions they started running after the ball was played.
  2. Maybe it is the best it's going to get, but it's a stretch for me to afford a season ticket. If we're not going anywhere then I'd rather save the money and watch streams. Not my fault - I'm just not earning enough to afford it really.
  3. This is very well documented now. Not a mental thing - it's down to our style of play. We play a patient passing game, which suits an opposition with a goal or 2 head start. Pochettino seems to have realised this as we had a plan B against Cardiff.
  4. Not suggesting that at all, but for me I cannot afford to shell out the better part of a grand to watch a season where nothing out of the ordinary is going to happen.
  5. "A few"? Or "Every season"? Bit of a difference. To be honest if we're settling for mid table I probably won't renew beyond next season, far too expensive now. Only reason I'm renewing this season is on faith that they're planning to keep all our players and push on...
  6. No, he gets a f*ck ton of praise. His comment about Messi is ridiculous as he simply isn't as good as him.
  7. Amazing. Well done both. As already said, the likes of Ramsay and Sturridge shouldn't be included in young player - and I also don't agree with one player being on both lists. But hey ho.
  8. I think Marshall is being overrated, people have said he's been putting in these outstanding performances all season...but it was only a month or so ago that he started getting rave reviews.
  9. That quote two posts up sounds to me like we'd decided he wasn't good enough and this loan was his chance to prove himself.
  10. Who is Drmic? And I'm not sure about signing two players from a side as abysmal as Cardiff, even if they have performed better than the rest. I'd rather we sign performers from higher up, like Davies from Hull. As for Keeper, I'd go for Forster from Celtic - he needs to play in the Prem to get the England jersey that he deserves. By the way I don't agree at all with having Clyne as first choice left back. As a stand in he's fine but it should never be permanent. I don't think Shaw will leave anyway.
  11. Ahhh ok, cheers. Well thats gone down by a fiver! W00t for price reductions
  12. The players failed in that sunderland game, not the manager. Sunderland made more changes than us and the team we put out was more than strong enough to win.
  13. Maybe he won't be the manager then won't matter to him who's sold when he's out...
  14. Isn't that more than buying the tickets individually?
  15. The cynic in me says that they're releasing the prices earlier than usual as they know people aren't going to like what happens over the summer.
  16. Thought the ref V Cardiff was pretty good, couple of iffy decisions but nothing blatantly wrong or outrageous.
  17. A lot better today but still a lot of work to be done. Should be catching crosses more often, although whilst his confidence is low I understand him wanting to just get rid - however punching shots that are directly at him instead of catching them are the absolute basics. I noticed watching the City game that a couple of times he closed his eyes and turned his face away when shots were coming in, be interesting to see if that was the case today - a keeper that's afraid of the ball, amazing.
  18. We have our fair share of speculative shots from distance, that's not the problem. It's shooting once we've worked it into the final 20 yards of the pitch.
  19. Hardly anyone is in a position to get a clear shot at goal anymore, too much emphasis on our forwards pulling wide. So naturally in an effort to keep possession instead of wasting it by shooting at a crazy angle we just lay it off...one of the downsides to playing all 3 of Lallana, Ramirez and Lambert. When Rodriguez is out we either need to play Gallagher who is more attack minded, or get Lambert to play as he used to - attacking the ball at the far post etc.
  20. Looked very good today, but probably at the expense of the team. We had too many players looking to create and no-one actually getting in goalscoring positions. Given Lamberts poor display I'd drop him for Gallagher next game and keep Ramirez in.
  21. Mistake playing all 3 of Lallana, Ramirez and Lambert. Everyone looking to create and no-one getting on the end of it. Needed Gallagher in there for one of them. Clyne should have come on a lot earlier for Chambers as well, who never really got into the game.
  22. Yup. I never actually had a problem with it, quite liked it as it was fresh and classy. But with this switch back I am really looking forward to the kit for next season.
  23. For a lot of stadiums there's no alternative but to stick those in wheelchairs right at the front, which obviously isn't ideal. Creating a disabled viewing area like we have a St Marys wouldn't just mean ripping out seats, you'd have to somehow level out the steps (not even sure if that'd be possible) and then figure out a way of getting them up there. They show an example picture of palace - how exactly would you get someone half way up the terrace in the first place? The only way it would be possible would be rebuilding the whole stand, surely? You can't knock out part of the terrace to build an elevator without compromising the structural integrity I would imagine. It's a bit harsh to blame clubs for not catering to disabled fans properly citing modern day regulations when most of these stadiums were built decades ago.
  24. The silver badge was never part of this campaign fyi, it was in use on the website etc. immediately after the 125th anniversary.
  25. Maybe get T-shirts with "Keep MoPo" on the back and all ride in front of him in a row.
