When you actually look at the amount of ex-players that joined the staff under Cortese it kind of sh*ts on the theory that he wanted to erase our history. And yet here we are without Cortese and potentially one or two ex-players being sacked from their coaching roles.

I am, as woodward joined the club AFTER we got relegated.

So they'll only be shown during mid half water breaks meaning we won't miss any actual football. Not that big a deal. I remember in the fa cup a couple of years ago they went to adverts during extra time and missed an everton goal. THAT was something worth getting ****ed off about.

I would assume so otherwise our first team squad would be swarming with them. Don't forget we must have at least 20 players in each youth category (at a guess) and we definitely cant keep them all.

When I viewed it last comments were being heavily moderated (deleted) and 2 of mine were, as well as the like/dislike bar not being shown. Now they've just disabled comments altogether, presumably because it was too much hassle deleting 99% of comments that disagreed with you. Ironic from a group that screams freedom of speech whenever they're called racists.

A good way of looking it is imagining where we are and where he is at the end of his career. That £27million will be long gone and probably will be totally irrelevant.

And that's a fantastic achievement. Tell fans of other clubs about it though, and the most you'll get is an "aww, that's nice". We're not competing in this league to break our own records, we should be competing with the other clubs. I guess this is just the last 10 years or so of football becoming increasingly money hungry finally catching up with me.

Because we were still looking to progress, we were showing ambition. This summer looks to be about stabilising and just staying as we are. That might be good enough for other people, that's fine. But I'm not going to pay the amounts of money required to go nowhere. In individual matches yes, but on the league and cup season we haven't made a single dent.

That is hilarious. And i'll admit to being one that complained about his predicitons previously.

I'm not underwhelmed, disappointed or any of the other crap being posted. Just confused. If we're so big on increasing our commercial revenue now, then why haven't we gone for a bigger brand that can pump more money in? That is of course, unless we're getting ANOTHER sponsor for just the shirts and our main sponsor isn't included in that.

It was her 'bankrolling' us before so what's changed in your mind?
