So would a player get sent off if they grabbed a pitch invader and held them in place for the stewards to come and get him? Jesus.
-
He's still a much, much better option there than Yoshida.
-
No, he left after we were relegated.

The legal differences between a Gay civil union and a Gay marriage

Yeah, you can have ceremonies with no relation to religion whatsoever. If I was ever to enslave myself I think this is the option I'd take. -
Would any of you do an FC United of Manchester?
Saint_clark replied to Tom8558's topic in The Saints
What? Why would you stop supporting a club just because it's become successful? FC United was formed because of Glazer, not because they won too many titles FFS. -
Match fixing in England...(Champions League)

That does explain some refereeing displays. -
Match fixing in England...(Champions League)
Saint_clark replied to Saint Garrett's topic in General Sports
The amounts of money quoted are insignificant to teams playing in the Champions League, why do it? -
People said this in 2005.

Not a chance really, unless we go back down and he stays. I reckon he'll end up in 10th place.

Wigan 2-2 SAINTS /// Post-Match Reactions
Saint_clark replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Away from the football, I actually thought Wigan was quite a nice place. The concourse was brilliant as well. -
What? Why don't you read things properly, precious.
-
Keep up dear.

Oooooops! I knew he was born there but didn't realise he had played for them. My bad. In that case then, I can only see Carroll being called up. Proper "He's not finnish...he's only 28!" moment there.
-
Yeah, Puncheon I can see being dropped though.

video of our support with smoke bomb yesterday
Saint_clark replied to rick1976.4.38's topic in The Saints
"Spicing things up"? Is that a nicer way of saying inciting violence, as I know a lot of people who would turn round and give them a smack if they started trying to push them over the seat in front of them. What a f*cking idiotic thing to do. -
Hopefully Anichebe will get a call up, he looks a real talent and he's different to any other English striker right now...he's the kind of striker Welbeck tries to be.

No problem with the smoke bomb, some of you lot need to lighten up. However...why do they feel the need to stand as close as possible to each other in one or two rows and then shove each other about? -
A woman holding a child was punched in the face? Did they try to eat her child afterwards? What a load of rubbish. Wigan fans seemed to be a funny bunch, that lot off to the left had a right chip on their shoulder.

When is Ramirez going to start justifying his price-tag?
Saint_clark replied to Sheaf Saint's topic in The Saints
But he didn't play on the left, Rodriguez did (and then Puncheon when they swapped round). Ramirez was in the hole and anonymous for all of the first half besides missing that chance. -
Quick note on things like this...if it bothers you that much then why not tell them to pipe the f*ck down at the time? And before anyone says anything, yes I have done so myself in the past. If they're acting like a knob and then try kicking off when you pick them up on it, you'll have thousands of decent Saints fans backing you up.
-
He'll probably end up getting injured.

I've been one of his biggest defenders on here, but today he was appalling. I genuinely think he will be a big talent in the future but for the here and now, he needs to be dropped. -
Wigan 2-2 SAINTS /// Post-Match Reactions
Saint_clark replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Not going to go into much depth - Shaw was brilliant (equaliser aside), so much so that Wigan were kicking the sh*t out of him in the second half. Davis and Lallana have to start next game, they turned it around. Davis in particular has looked f*cking fantastic recently. Lambert is just...unreal. I think the way he turned to the fans after scoring is my favourite celebration now. Clyne and Puncheon have looked poor in the last few games...since Adkins was sacked. Anything to be drawn from that? Who knows. But whilst the rest of the team has looked much better, these two have looked a lot worse. -
If some are to be believed, he's been an Arsenal player since 2009 and every season since he's just been on loan.

Nobody is wrong in this thread...if you sit right at the front or right at the back invariably you don't hear most of the atmosphere because of the shape of modern stadiums. The abuse and hostility is ridiculous. However, the people who kept looking round at me, giving me funny looks and shaking their heads when me and the group I was with tried to get/keep chants going - what's up with that?
