  1. Not for me...he tries far too hard to be all the players and managers best mate.
  2. Great video, but I hated the "tough year" comment to Sharp. He doesn't need telling, no less reminding at a time like that.
  3. I'd wager all of those are down to mistranslations.
  4. Watch the video of all goals this season - 2 or 3 of them come from Fox overlapping. And that's not including the ones that didn't make it into the video, or the ones that didn't result in a goal. The "Fox doesn't overlap" view is just as huge a myth as the "Fox passes the ball into the opposite stand" one.
  5. Or perhaps the same Fox that, as I said, has to mark 2 players at once and would rather trust his CBs to clear a cross than let an extra oppo player run into the box unmarked. I'm not blaming Lallana by the way - I know full well the system we play leaves the fullbacks exposed, and that's the point. We have to cut them a bit of slack by taking that into consideration.
  6. I wish it would tell you when players come back from suspension. My star CB was missing for one game but missed 2 because I clicked "submit team" a split second before I noticed he was available again - and I then lost 3-0, two of them the fault of the stand-in.
  7. That bubbles song is so f*cking boring, I've heard it at least 20 times already tonight.
  8. Sometimes, yes - but he is also often caught behind the play because we've been on the attack, given the ball away and the opponents have broken.
  9. Oh, f*ck off West Ham.
  10. Considering Lallana is allowed a lot of freedom with his attacking play, I think Fox has been outstanding this season often having to cover that entire flank himself.
  11. I agree to an extent, keep most of them as squad players - but people like Holmes, Connolly, Butterfield I would let go.
  12. There's a mute button for people like you, there isn't an "add music" button for people like me
  13. Better than silence?
  14. Nearly towards the end of the season now, and he still is heavily involved. Guess we just got so used to it that we didn't notice anymore! A couple of bad performances coupled with fans jumping on his back and chanting for De Ridder whilst Guly was still on the pitch meant his confidence was at zero for the last month at least.
  15. Gulys little flick for the goal at 7.05...jesus...
  16. I have to admit, I've never actually seen him put in a performance that's made me sit up and take notice - but I'd love to be proved completely wrong.
  17. Amazing. Couple of things to pay close attention to - how much Guly is involved, and how good the work that he does is, and also just how f*cking brilliant our pass and move football was (especially in the first half of the season).
  18. Bialkowski poking his head out the door when Fontes being interviewed...
  19. It's not a trophy as such...more like a big paperweight.
  20. It did help us, but not in the way you're suggesting. We've learnt from a mistake and we sure as sh*t won't be doing it again. But that positive note is dependant on the fact that it was actually a mistake.
  21. I stand corrected, I thought Reeds official title was "head of football development" and in all honesty I've never heard of the other two.
  22. Surely we don't have directors anymore? Just Cortese running the whole show and then heads of departments beneath him?
  23. I don't think certain people get the reason behind dressing up like that - the people who did it KNEW they looked like tw*ts, but had the capability to laugh at themselves.
  24. Swap Oakley for Cork, surely.
