Massive difference between saying "f*ck sake" under your breath when you miss a shot/get tackled and shouting down the camera like he did. I still don't understand why he's saying it though. Well he looked sharp when he came on, but Butterfield still shades it for me. I'd bring Forte in for Guly though.

Trouble is when he's in the box he gets two CBs on him every time. Better to drag one of them wide and then play a quality ball into the box with Lallana/Chambo/Chaplow/Hammond rushing up to get on the end of it, as well as Barnard of course.

He punched the air when Barnard made that amazing run and got a freekick down by the corner flag as well. What a guy, what a player.

I have never, ever thought that about him. He closes down tremendously. This seems to be the standard opinion on foreign players, though. I thought he looked off the pace on saturday but probably because it was so long since he last started.

And yet if you watch some of the videos of Saints games when we were in the Prem, even in the relegation season, we were playing cracking football compared to the majority of what we've seen these last 6/7 years.

The aimless heading etc. you're referring to was only after they scored and we got a bit desperate. We were carving them to pieces before the first goal. I agree with Adkins though that we weren't quite moving the ball quick enough to do any real damage.
