http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2320623/Paolo-Di-Canio-just-12-fit-outfield-players-Sunderland-fight-Premier-League-survival.html Sunderland could ONLY have 12 players available for last game........ And have problems ahead of our visit. Not appealing the Red Card for Gardner

Villas-Boas "what a wonderful team Pochettino is building"
dubai_phil replied to positivepete's topic in The Saints

Oh krap, you were at the same skool as me. Bloody faggots is the main reason I took up smoking. Only thing (other than the Deputy Head's cock) (allegedly) that could get rid of the taste. And no, I never got the call to the Dep's office, that was where we sent the wimpy kids
-
Randomly was Stam's time on the pitch before going off injured a new record? Where's MLG?
-
Think Gary Caldwell is a shoe in for Saints MoM this evening
-
Oh that worked on so many levels
-
Hahahahaha What a shocker to give away WOOT!
-
Christ there isn't even time to catch up on posts on this thread before another one flies in. What was it 5 hours without a goal for Swansea. Woeful defending by Wigan
-
No that didn't work, as I was typing that oh FFS
-
Oops, my typing that apology caused Swansea to equalise. Now wtf do I do? I think I need a strong drink. Too much pressure
-
Oops, think that was my fault. Left the telly on in the bedroom and was on Skype with FMDP when I realised the time. Finished the call off and rushed in to catch the HT score and saw the shot...... Ah crap. Squeaky Sunday down the pub then
-
It's amazing at the moment how many Football fans want to see this scenario. The Geordies were always kind of meh and up their own history, but this past 18 months they seem to have upset a lot of fans of other clubs. Most the guys down the pub for Quiz night last night were hoping for the good-bye Toon scenario.

Will be interesting to see what the knocks were. Adam Johnson looked like Cramp but a calf strain would be perfect..... In the old days I would have feared for the mental strength of our players facing a baying crowd and high pressure game (think skatesmuff away all those years ago. Now I think our new bunch will actually thrive on it, yes we play poorly uinder MP against poor teams but that can also be as much down to the lack of adrenaline fuelled by lack of atmosphere. I just worry where our goals will come from as we sure as hell need to score a couple at least in these last two games. Time for a Guly thunderbolt winner for true cult hero status I suppose?
-
I really don't want to see Guly playing at Left Back against Sunderland. Or anyone else for that matter HTH

Beach resorts are very heavily guarded (Sharm Hurghada etc) but loonies still get through, Cairo? I won't send my staff there at the moment let alone suggest tourists go. The whole area around Israel (and Jordan) needs to be watched VERY carefully, the Syria situation is starting to spread. It was not widely reported but 10 days ago in Iraq there was a major incident in the north near Irbil with Govt forces allegedly shooting up to 200 protestors linked to an overspill from Damscus. It caused a major Trade Show to end early and Damascus Saint spent a very worried 8 hours in the "safer" confiens of the airport with all the other delegates rather than wait in their hotels for flights out. Contagion is the worry. And that means the Iranians getting involved, especially as now the UN seem to be showing that it was the REBELS who have used Chemical weapons Jordan SHOULD be safe but the Israelis need to be a bit more sensitive with their rocket attacks into Syria as it will lead to a response sooner rather than later. The issue would not be instability in Jordan more a major flood of people trying to get out through there and possible flight issues. But if you are driving you can always run across a border to get out

She'd be welcome here. Just make sure you don't catch this strange new Brit affliction of Jumping off High Rise buildings while on the plane.

Sunderland are AWFUL.... TV Studio presenter's summing up of the first half. Feet being left in tackles, players losing heads. Paulo ranting

Totally agree on that re the O2 gig. BUT. I 've been here in Dubai over 19 years. In all that time EVERY independent single gig (apart from All Day events) has started at 9pm. Part of that is working hours here are different many people work a split shift and finish work up to 7pm. As such the traffic (rush hour) in this place is insane up until around 19:30. Now equally, EVERY gig I have been to here has "Opened the doors" at 7pm. Happy Mondays? Gates opened at 7pm Band started at 9:30pm Bieber? Gates opened at 7pm He started at 9:30pm The Script? 9:15pm Only JLo of recent gigs has started bang on 9pm and THEN people wrote to the papers to Complain that she was on time! My mate who actually owns the company that builds the temporary stadiums for these gigs KNEW he was due on at 9pm and so took his two kids (and earplugs) to the venue at 8:30. So teh WORST he could be accused of was being half an hour late.... The Oh we had to wait two hours brigade were the ones who got there at 7 so they could stand at the front (and found it was the VIP section at 100 quid a ticket so they were moaqning before they'd even looked at their watches!) Sorry but in this one the press reports are out of order and "kicking the prat" is more newsworthy than the truth

This thread is now getting as long as the movie the Title reminds me of... The Marathon Man.... Is it safe?

This on Twitter this morning Bieber is so talented that when a bouncer knocks over his piano it keeps playing. #prodigy #theshowmustgoon #brat

Ealing is good. Ealing Broadway offers regular fast trains into Paddington or Heathrow. Ealing Common also has good Underground links. Nice small town atmosphere & shopping. Only a short run round the North Circular from the M4 Pretty certain Luke Shaw would like it. It has a Nandos

Mind you she's probably quite used to going down these days
