Lol nice to see one of our pet skates voting for NC to go
-
Did someone mention golf? For us foreigners who can't hear it so well on TV what is the actual TUNE for those words? Can one of you hum it (or you tube it for us) Of just find Eric on the pitch Sunday with our flag and teach him. Cheers

If he was in Soi Cowboy waiting for me he was two months early.

You want to improve it & make it true & topical? Just change the last word.... To..... Benali

Don't need to be Sherlock to at least have an idea. It's all about the money. Reading that Echo article I stand by my original opinion. Everything is true but is not what it seems. NC's contract is up after 4 years. Until Saturday we COULD have been relegated, so NOBODY in their right mind, on EITHER side would have set out to negotiate a NEW contract without knowing what the probable Financial Plan for the club would be. The new riches from the new TV deal or selling the family silver to pay contracts we cannot afford in the Championship (even WITH the PP's) So his comment (if it was made) is true, he has no agreement on his contract. The family would likely have had two versions ready to offer him, and IF we had gone down his pride would have made him walk as a failure anyway. Today was the first POSSIBLE day lawyers could have even STARTED work on a new deal. I'm now more chilled, it's a negotiation and NC has obviously been signing that Spanish RB & Astori. Then it's about waiting to see whether we get Lukaku or Bentecke in.

The thought that will keep me awake the next few evenings will be down to this issue of Ambition. Here we sat honestly believing that we were now in a position where we would not listen to a 10 million bid for the likes of Luke Shaw because we had Vision Strategy and Backing. This isn't a Ticket Tax issue, something more important is at stake here and it worries the sh1t out of me. Forget early additions to the squad, will we get through July keeping hold of Morgan & Luke IF this goes the wrong way.

Good luck to all of you Jim.

I suppose it's sad that their season has ended. They won't get the chance to sing WTFILN after our NC thread today

Damn I KNEW it. So there was me in my Flourescent Yellow Danger Men Drinking T-Shirt at the FATM gig on Friday and EoA decked out in his best Ben Sherman Polo..... T'was only when I got him to wear a pair of flashing Red Toyota Sunglasses that the night picked up. Nice to see it all scientific. (Oh and Porsche drivers only have limited amounts of sex because, (as everyone down here knows) you are only allowed to buy one IF you have a small appendage)

Would be a good idea not to buy one of those Electronic Smoking machines on a whim on the way. It's only a short hop & skip for a Jump
-
Of course. He's p1ssed off because the family won't let him bid for Rooney
-
On another tack, just how many PL clubs are there which have an actual Internal Management team of... One. We have the Academy Machine, but the Internal machinery? the kind of stuff run by an Andre Cowen or a COO. Now we are a much bigger operation perhaps one side in this dicsussion sees it is time to improve areas where we are weak. The other doesn't like that. All very strange and worrying. Think I'll retire from reading the main board all week and go see if I can orders for more Pink Caps on TMS
-
Only collecting the sample units on 22nd June. Hope you can wait that long. If not will see what I can find for you as a back up in Ben Tranh Market in HCM.

A Baseball Cap. Covered with Pink Sequins. Just thought it looked silly Then last year took it as a joke for a mate's stag weekend thinking it would round off his outfit... Never imagined the repercussions. For my Stag this year we had 8 of them Visiting the factory in 3 weeks, may well start importing them into Europe. They are SUCH (unexpected) Babe Magnets

Well. Look on the bright side. Rupert's not up to much these days. Or failing that Trevor Birch has some pretty up to date experience in the role
-
Yeah. Let's look at this. Hi I want a new contract for next year. Well OK, have we guaranteed that we will be in the PL next season? Uh not yet. Well, why don't we wait until after the Sunderland game so we know what our income will be next year and then we can make the right offer. Yeah that's a good idea. I'll give you a call to set up a meeting on Monday then. = No deal agreed to keep him at Saints Damn fine Journalism there again
-
Great effort to make it back. Shame they'll never get the chance to play the skates.... Seeing as they'll pass them next year
-
That'll be us next season then

For the people who said our defence wasn't good enough
dubai_phil replied to Dazza82's topic in The Saints
Well, sod the OP, I for one think that a L1 defender has stepped up and had a damned good season. Sure we will get better in over the summer, but I was worried about him in the Championship & I was scared to death with him in the PL, yet he has improved every week and his reading of the game and intelligence have made up for his misgivings. I salute Jose Fonte. He (and others) stepped up to the plate. -

Hahaha But what could have been the odds on it happening in 3 games at the end of the season? Unreal -
Sunderland 1-1 SAINTS // Post-Match Reaction

It will be impressive next season. We are a different side now. Unless we lose lots of players for silly money of course -
Sunderland 1-1 SAINTS // Post-Match Reaction

One of our most controlled and composed performances I have seen from us away from home (last week excepted of course) What today showed is that with a true cutting edge up front we would have destroyed Sunderland. But poor old Jos got in the way again to almost grab a PL record for own goals all to himself. IF we are to play this pressing game then we need to START with better players than Puncheon & Lallana, and to be honest than Rickie. But with that quality of squad and the style.... We're going to dump about 11 players who got us into the PL over the summer, replace Chappers, SDR, Fox & Richardson with the RIGHT quality over the summer. Then we may never hear from Alpine again. We've done BLOODY well to stagger over the finish line with such high intensity football and a small first team squad. That won't happen next year, we'll have the rotation available It's clear that Rickie has run out of steam but he still played his part in the tactics & the team effort -
Mackems throwing toys out the pram already down here

That post was more confusing than Eric's attempt to use his mobile on Friday Night when he ended up in Tehran after Sandance
