5 years of televised games it's been Me, Eric & goodfellas jay in the pub. They'd bring some mates along who were "sympathetic to our cause". FMDP joined our band 3 years ago. Then things changed. Leeds game we had 12 fans in the pub (more than the mighty Leeds). Poopey game 24. Now we meet them every time we go down the pub. Where the hell were they all the past 7 years?

Oh a mention in passing to Once Upon a Time. OK so it is one zillionth of the quality of GoT, but what the hell were the writers smoking to come up with the idea of Jiminy Cricket as a Shrink (amongst others) It's decent fill in TV catching up between an awesome American Idol finale show (Chaka Khan, Neil Diamond, Rihanna, Joe Fogarty, J Lo, Aerosmith and an amazing duet between Jessica & Janet Holliday) & the next GoT BUT... Think it has been covered that there was a cut off date for applications to different Leagues. To send them down that far would cause chaos with all the promotion & relegation places throughout the entire Pyramid at this time. It is still touch & go what the FL could do IF they are Liquidated in the summer, clubs have to plan and budget for the League they were supposed to be in

yeah, and all the corporate guys I've met in the past week wouldn't have wished they could swap for Android because of the costs involved in having Iphones (not just Apps but in switching between 3G & Wifi etc. When used by guys who do International travel the Iphones are running around 50% more expensive than the newer Androids they are standardising on. I'd still have the what Apps are good? issue. Many of the Apps are restricted to territory & the IStore here has only about 35% of what you can get in EU

OK so while we are on the subject... Had mine a week and got a few things working and a few annoying me. I can see it is eventually going to be a wonderful beast but Old Dogs & New tricks (after decades of Nokia Logic - tough that!) Lots of RTFM going on at the moment. Still haven't been able to get my work mail onto it - (problems with the Corporate Server & my location apparently - ho hum) but got the usual Personal mail, FB, Twitter etc But the NEXT questions are... 1) What do I do to be able to view TSW forum & post on it from the phone 2) What do I do to be able to take a pic on the fone & post it (to FB/TSW or Twitter?) 3) What are the Apps I REALLY should install and are worth paying for?

We know the figures do not add up. We know the wage bill continues to be astronomical during the summer with no income. We know they are trying to sell the club. The BARRIER to all of that is the FL Meeting. Now taking that into consideration to get past the FL Meeting they need "a plan". They need "positive movement on finding a buyer". They need some "positive spin" After all if the High Court could fall for a Spin, so could the FL Now look back at what has been happening in the media the past week or so. There is no logic financial or otherwise for Chinny to buy the club WITH the current wage bill. They won't leave voluntarily, so the simple maths do not add up. HMRC will be pretty aggressive IF they decide to struggle on and have NOT shown a cash flow forecast that actually PAYS them this time - one week delay and WUO instantly is my guess. So are we seeing actually PROGRESS? Or are we seeing Spin designed to support a Hail Mary pass to the FL to give TB an extra month to TRY and flog a dead horse? Starting to think that financial logic indicates the latter is what is happening

I had sortta worked that out. In fact I think that is what has (by unanimous decision here) made these last couple of episodes feel to have been the strongest of the series. It is the obvious growth in the depth of the characters that makes you know "a storm is brewing" and this time around we are much closer to ALL the characters, whereas at the end of S1 it was "all about" Ned. The Intensity is just growing all the time, it's like 5 or 6 totally different stories coming to a head all at once. Think that is the beauty of the show (I have the books for my holiday reading next week!) Each "story" is now feeling that in a different Interpretation could have been almost a stand alone mini-series in a different (and not so good) interpretation. Think that is why it is so different from other shows, and the glue that holds that all together is the fantastic use of the clearly visually different location filming instead of too much "studio & CGI" work This season you have felt a storm coming. Last season you felt winter coming. The great thing is that this storm (as seems clear) is nowt to do with the bigger Winter Storm. Oh and on the Khaleesie turning into a dippy whining cow? Again I interpret that as almost deliberate, the other characters have strengthened and deepened, it is the CONTRAST that stands out, and it is pretty clear from the overall story line and the style of the show so far, that is not an accident, watching her this season is like having an 8 week long fore-play before sex. GoT Bewbs were back ( well sortta) OK continues to build in intensity, the young girl is becoming as awesome a character as Tyrean the dwarf with acting skills to go with that. But it is kinda going to need something to start to happen next week.. (Which is pretty darned likely)
