Overage players are Bellamy, Giggs & Micah Richards

Yeah but Nick. If he was 2million then would he be worth a punt? Because the way that add-ons work is that they only get paid IF the player is successful..... If he is rubbish we don't pay for set number of games, England Call ups CL qualification () etc The press always do this with transfer fees we have no idea of knowing what the true bid was (if any)

Back on the subject of Space soaps surely there was milage in building on the entire Time Travel stuff that cropped up in Enterprise & Voyager - How the Time Federation or whatever they were called got formed went wrong etc etc On the subject of which think FAQ's about Time Travel deserves at least a mention. Sure it could have been better but it wasn't bad. Oh and agree with the previous post about the 1978 Invasion of the BodySnatchers. That last shot in that movie also gave me nightmares for months. Films just never used to end that way

During my last medical check up, my doctor asked me about my physical activity level. I described a typical day this way: "Well, yesterday afternoon, I took a five hour walk about 7km through some pretty rough terrain. I waded along the edge of a lake. I pushed my way through brambles. I got sand in my shoes, eyes and hair. I avoided standing on a snake. I climbed several rocky hills. I took a few 'leaks' behind some big trees. The mental stress of it all left me shattered. At the end of it all I drank eight beers" Inspired by the story, the doctor said, "You must be one hell of an outdoors man!" "No," I replied, "I'm just a ****ty golfer".

I find it strange that poopey are in the sh1t. Considering how most of the UK's banking elite must have been trained on compliance there.

http://www.fallingskies.com/ I see S2 is now showing in the US. Hopefully that means we will get it over here soon. As I mentioned before, the show started strangely. An alien invasion of earth was covered in about 30 seconds by a kid talking over a drawing. (The writers explained they didn't think they could bring anything new to the Invasion scenes). The first few episodes were really touch and go as to whether it would turn into a dreadful "focus group" "family oriented" disaster like Terra Nova but it gradually improved through the series and had some great episodes towards the end and tantaslising reveals of more Alien types leading to the season finale. As there is actually sod all else on the telly these days I hope it keeps improving. Initial reviews seem to think it is moving the right way. There also seems to be a whole raft of sci-fi movies coming out this year. Yeah John Carter was just dreadful, but a proper remake of Total Recall and a noi remake of Dredd due out.

Driving from the UK to Italy in August....Travel Tips Sought

Agree. We had a Sat Nav and used it twice when we really needed it. BUT the trick is to have a damned good set of maps and keep the tracking going. I've done trips across France before with the kids and made it almost a competition between them to "be the best Navigator" on the trip. FMDP started our trek around Italy unable to even find the right way up on a map, within a couple of days she took great delight in finding us the weirdest C road routes with amazing scenery (and shorter distances). Have your own list of major towns you expect to pass through from Google before you go and then if a mistake gets made you should know pdq and don't make it an issue go 5 or 10km and get back to your last known point or THEN use the Sat Nav. BUT don't try and use it ALL the time. Mates with us for the wedding must have nearly crashed 5 or 6 times as they tried to read it or then called US to say we had gone wrong (their Sat Nav tried to take them from Pescara to Rome via Naples for eg) -
Was in their Euro squad but unused. Interesting if true shows we look to buy "better" than we have.

Hope it will be available without the sponsor logo as then I can wear it out as we all do (still) with the sash shirt to the pub & golf etc

But, thanks to the UK's blame culture we'll still see plenty of "It's not our fault, we didn't sign them, it was the previous owner/manager" type quotes in the coming weeks Thought the legal statement from the Rangers' players lawyers put it very well and should be cut and pasted into a comments section in the snooze Can be turned around to relate to those demanding the players walk away from their contracts

Once went to a Dr Who convention at Longleat. Jon Pertwee & Tom Baker & The Brigadier were there. It was an excellent day out. Was in a queue for one tent and I got a shhh and tap on the shoulder. Turned around to see a Sontaran. He gave me a wink and took my place next to Ex Mrs D_P. She was rabbit bored rabbit bored this is rubbish bored followed by SCREAM...... Oh how I laughed..... Bit later in queue for another tent I got a tap on the shoulder - turned round to find a Cyberman standing there (Old stylee) Trust me, I nearly cacked my pants. NEVER forgotten that moment.

Latest Star Trek movie was the best BUT some of it's predecessors are still enjoyable. Farscape a mix of woof woof and decent stories. Currently Fringe works well, but Falling Skies got better and better and S2 should be about to start. Worth a download or remainder bin DVD before that. Stick with it. Starts off dangerously "Terra Nova family based" but manages to eventually move on and by the end you realise it could become REALLY good The Battlestar remake? Perfection at the time, thoughtful and great effects for TV. The ending still leaves you with a Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Personally love Sci Fi Peter F Hamilton & his soap opera style are enjoyable reads. But c'mon old farts The original Star Trek. How far fetched did Automatic opening doors seem back then?

HTH Oh and the BIGGEST idea? IF you can find an OLD laptop, take that AND 2 USB Mem Sticks and download every night and make back ups. I had a 16Gb card in my camera and filled it by end of trip but also had 3 x 4Mb cards so I alternated each day & backed up to the 16Gb and IF the camera had got nicked I would not have lost the whole trip picks (Which are now on FB and for friends only) -
What? Better than Ace Rimmer "Smoke me a Kipper I'll be back for Breakfast" or Backwards?
