  1. Oi. Alps STFU. I got in first with the Jock's gonna lose tactics
  2. Federer must be injured. Murray should've lost by now
  3. He'll still screw it up
  4. for anyone without Beeb or Sky access go to http://www.myiplayer.com Wait for the first ad to go and then click on BBC One and bingo you have live tennis I'm off to watch the golf tho Murray's a Jock we all know how this will end
  5. Oh dear Darren. Got that one wrong old friend. That was possibly the SINGLE most accurate post ever made on a poopey forum during this whole sorry mess
  6. Oh how true that was Pilchards. How damned true
  7. Probably nearer 120 million thanks to global coverage making it even dodgier. But then pcfc is all about dodgy
  8. Don't be silly. It IS Saints related. If we are to fill our new 90k capacity stadium for CL & World Club Championship Football then we need EVERY Saints fan to read Whitey's posts and make sure they stay Saints Fit in the coming years. Whitey - time to get in touch with the club & rename your recovery The Saints Way
  9. We don't want your sort over here. This is a mod free zone Although I hear that Australia are in need of Cricketers these days, you may get some opps down that way just tell them you bowl better than Warner you'll get a Visa no problems. (much easier than having to get a Hairdresser or Plasterer qualifiaction)
  10. Whitey. You bloody hero.Well done for sitting down and typing that out. It needs to be said often and loudly. Because very few people ever listen until it is too late. I totally agree with you, a mate went through the stress/diabetes/life change that you mentioned and is now realising why he was put on this earth in the first place (and as he says, reckons he's given himself another 20 years to enjoy it). Now go get fixed up, get trim, take up (the much maligned) game of golf to get your fix of exercise and you'll be watching Saints in the CL final with us all in 30 years time
  11. Wow that is so retro 80's. Better get some songs to Human League & Duran Brothers tunes if we're going down that route.
  12. Just like to point out that one of our pre-existing CM's had PL experience and even has a goal diving header against Spuds) to his name. Jack Cork played for Burnley in the PL
  13. I once did the washing up. Does that count?
  14. Hammond will get PL game time. We have 3 CM's there will be suspensions and injuries and NA rotates the players to keep them fresh. He will get 20-30 minutes off the bench from time to time as will JWP & Chaplow WHILE they are at the club. During the course of the season we will likely see 5 or 6 players at some time get game time in CM. I'm amazed that so many have already forgotten that a large part of our success has been our TEAM spirit and the Psychology approach at the club. NA is not going to buy 5 or 6 PL quality CM's and destroy the team spirit in the next 4/5 weeks that took two seasons to build. We will have a 25 man squad and around 15 of those should be PL first team quality THIS season 'til January at least). He won't be the best, BUT he won't let us down either. (of course you COULD choose to sell him and then you can have Guly as your cover in CM off the bench & in case of an injury crisis)
  15. Damn. We should have signed him. We'd have had a new tactic for the coming season. Park The Bus
  16. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/internet/9381112/Could-the-internet-really-shut-down.html You mean some people have only JUST noticed how "weak" the internet infrastructure is? EEK! No INTERNET for a day? No emails? No excels? Better book up for a round of golf then. Yup it's 42C and about 70% humidity I'll go hit some golf balls. Wonder if the GPS will still work? So. What are you going to do Monday with no Internet? Dune - better reply to that email from Nige. Turkish better order his latest gear online (good chance the bank will lose the transaction) Eric? just open another OSH. Trousers on the train on the PTS - oh dear, Dude you'll have to look at your fellow commuters for a change.
  17. Let's not get too excited about the International Footballer line. Alan Blayney has played 5 times for NI
  18. I bet there is every chance that this guy will provide an option on the left allowing Lallana & Guly to share the RM roles depending on the type of formation we play. AL has been a great success out on the left, but without "electric pace", how effective will the "coming inside onto his preferred right foot be? Not saying it will be the case but a good LM comes in and then RM starts to look like Adam's land. I know many think AL in the hole but with 2 up front that leaves you a midfield of 2 CM's and only one wide player? That doesn't sound right from a balance perspective and also not right in the way NA set us up with Guly & AL Let's simply wait & see
  19. Murray beat Federer here in Dubai the night Rupert launched his comeback plan with Wilde. Lets hope he doesn't win Sunday then
  20. Oh Lord, here we go again. I suppose Andy is now officially British again. For someone so many hate you're spending an inordinate amount of time with the praise on here
  21. I do believe I kept harping on about his McLaren MP whatever. So yeah well done us hmm wonder if that is available on the cheap from the CSI Administrator. What' AA driving these days?
  22. Keep up, that was two hilarious appointments ago
  23. http://www.thenational.ae/news/uae-news/british-navy-divers-search-dubais-port-rashid-for-missing-seaman Not looking good if they have Divers searching the harbour for him
  24. Don't think there is any doubt whatsoever that Manchester got it right with the Commonwealth Games. But (and you guys will know this much better) comparing some of the excellent points made with what has happened (legacy wise) in London.. 2nd runway at MCR vs Queues at Heathrow Metro Expansion vs (White Painted Express Lanes & Traffic chaos?) How many new hotels vs Euro 2012 style price hikes on the large quantity of poor quality London "Tourist" Hotels around Paddington Area. Manchester gained immensely from the "change of image" that they received globally and the boost to tourism has been tangible. London on the other hand never really needed a huge boost to tourist numbers from "Publicity" it tended to need simply "an improvement in the experience of those who visited". Daughter lives out Essex way and commutes, while the Stratford area is now an alternative venue for shopping et al, it is still really only accessible by Underground (the overall road infrastructure has not been improved outside the immediate vicinity) and so as she says "who the hell wants to do their weekly shopping & cart it all home on the Tube" The games have brought benefits but mixing them into the melting pot of History & Politics that is London instead of a City with Vision that Manchester was appears to have limited the impact. Still, my mate owns a business down here in Dubai. He's doing very nicely out of a lot of the construction contracts and actually chartered some planes to fly staff & equipment in........ (Which is I guess kind of the point others made) Westfields vs Chic Malls
  25. Like you wouldn't believe! Get well soon
