So this means we can now officially say that Cork is better than Beckham..... Good news, well done to the lad - big crowds, big match experience can only help him develop. Also gives us lot down here a reason to watch the games down the pub (as if we really ever needed an excuse)

Glad the PTS nutjobs managed to raise a smile on the main forum

Seen a lot of comments on this on news feeds. Biggest is that the major banks could get rammed hard by fines and many execs face Criminal charges not only here but also in US. Most advice was along the lines of move to Co-op Bank or any old fashioned Building Societies still left Good blog on it here http://www.ianfraser.org/the-wages-of-sin-bankers-on-the-fiddle/

Bu But that's ridiculous, everyone knows we need a 60,000 seater next season with capacity to go up to 80k. It's not as if we haven't discussed it at length. Of course everyone wanted to buy our CL qualification shirt the first chance they could get. They'll be worth a fortune in years to come in Japan.

I'm sure TDD probably knows a couple of Royal Marines that are fit enough for that role. But if we are talking football, then someone who can maintain possession and make an accurate pass and has good close control skills while running around would be a better addition. Thing with Chappers is he took another injury to his knee (had it fixed down here) AFTER he came back from that he was not the same player. Considering the Doc who did the work here is one of the global specialists that PL players go to when the knee needs something a bit more than the usual keyhole stuff MAY indicate that his drop off in form and consistency are linked to the injury. Now Chaplow at the start of last season may be able to cut it in the PL. The Chaplow who played in the latter end of the season is NOT going to make it no matter how much he runs around. The latter Chappers needs replacing. It must be the med staff & Nige's call. Doesn't stop them finding someone better at running around aimlessly than a Royal Marine - a Gareth Barry for example

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition

Owen's coming here? Ah krap, I'll never be able to get a tee time at The Creek course now -
It's fun reading this thread. The last time we went away from tradition the shirt became one of our greatest ever in terms of sales and it was awesome to see so many at SMS that year. Nobody started WWIII over the fact that we played in white shorts that year as well. Will this be as successful as the Sash. No of course not. But one small part of that "failure" will be down to the sponsor logo. It looks grim. Will I buy one for me & FMDP? Yes. I need something to wear down the pub to watch the games and I don't want to wear my Sash shirt to death as it is a classic and I want to keep it for many years to come. For those taking this fashion disaster so much more seriously than Banking Fraud, The Eurozone Crisis and the outlook for Employment in the world, then this may help, http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/the-mindfulness-approach/201106/online-counseling-anxiety-depression I don't like it. I didn't like the Pony kit, was not a fan of the Xerox kit, but I notice the club has managed to (just about) keep going since those years and it will be going again next season as well. You know what? I don't give a flying frick what the shirt looks like next season. Right now all I am worried about is how the team play while wearing it.

No. He should stick to scoring goals at SMS

Wrong... Bob Rotella's book Golf is not a game of perfect is without doubt THE best advice ANY golfer can read. I (have been lucky enough) to watch Ernie Els take a 3 wood from 240 yards in the middle of the fairway and hit it 30 feet. I have seen Miguel Angel Jimenez take SIX from 7 feet from the pin. THAT book explains why it happens and why you should walk up to the ball and just hit it. More recently Bob was filmed talking to Darren Clarke for 5 minutes before the last round at the British Open last year. We all know what happened next.

Wow, good effort on that report Dude I stand by my previous comment. It'll make it easier to drink & talk football sh1t with Lee Westwood next Feb with him being a Forest fan. REALLY wish we had gone for the white with Red. What date does the away kit go on sale?
-
Blimey. Ifthat's true then I may have to claim a new SWF record. Of only posting once on a close season HCDAJFU thread, and then 2 hours behind the first lead on him, damn. If only I had started the Buttner thread having seen Saints FanZone retweet something other than Dickson getting plastered with Tommy F again

OK experts out there. Somebody must have a solution. How do you remove stuck on plastic from a "plastic" shirt. Without the aap3 logo that would be acceptable (although think we missed a trick by not having the white as the home version). But WITH the sponosr logo it is in oh dear land
-
For any problem there are always solutions. Unfortunately sometimes the strictures of the Western Way of Medical care don't always provide a complete solution. Good luck to the guy of course, at least he is out there seeking help (unlike many in that condition), just that I've seen (with a couple of lads I know down here) that the take two aspirin approach isn't enough and they needed something more Holistic than conventional medical / Psychological help can provide.
-
Me & FMDP are gonna confuse the hell out of Lee Westwood when we wear these at the golf next Feb. He'll think he finally found a Forest Fan over here, then realise we're the nutty stalkers from his last two nightmares
-
Was that through choice or due to the fact that there have been problems with supply of XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL sized and some fans had to start wearing the Saints Duvets?

Who Is The Worst Company you Have Had The Misfortune To Have To Deal With
dubai_phil replied to Gemmel's topic in The Lounge
Yeah. But he was an EU corporate type who had never left Europe before. He just could not get his head around the fact that some parts of the world aren't like Kansas. You know you're in trouble when you board PIA and they put a prayer over the PA for God's Will to ensure that you land. Personally I'd prefer if they trained pilots to fly and mechanics to service them and have the Big Man as a back up rather than the other way around:) Maybe that's why NTL are so bad.... They wait for the Man upstairs to do stuff with the cables? -

Not relevant to you lot but still funny. Pakistan International Airlines.. EU visitor - biz trip ignored the flights I told him to t ake - was sold tkt for non existent flight from Lahore to Dubai (we all were going via Karachi) At airport he ws told to fly to Karachi & they took his (those days) paper ticket. Land in Karachi - he has no paper tkt to Dubai - it's been used. He has "discusion" gets all "irate" and then demands to see "PIA's Customer Service Office". To which the answer was in a wonderful Punjabi wobbly head accent - "Oh no sir, this Pakistan, we not having Customer Service here". Took him 3 days to get out and he spent one night on the floor in Karachi Airport... Oh how we laughed On topic NTL as was -
Nutjobs. Hmmm. Tee Shirt design. Surely that requires a cartoon of a well dressed person in a Saints shirt with a number 7 on the back and the name WTFILN delivering the perfect knee in the nuts to a cartoon skate with the Where's your Riqueleme Gone? line built in somewhere. Oh Doc on call? The nice thing about Bangkok is that you can still find high quality. The Tee Shirts will of course be Armani/Prada/Dior/Stone Island/Adidas heck, maybe even Kevin Klean Just unlike poopey - they will be at a price that's affordable. (

Ah yes Johnnyboy. I think Attack the Block will stand the test of time and become a cult movie. Sure it could have been better but hey, it's what it is. Personally while the Marvel type superhero movies are good I don't really class them as Sci Fi, and at the end of the day don't rate Transformers for example as "proper" Sci-Fi On the subject of good sci-fi/weird stuff, Outer Limits anyone? There were some cracking episodes in amongst some dross. Didn't it get repeated/revamped back in the 80's? Oh and http://blakes7.com/

Hmm be quick, may be off to Thailand in a couple of weeks, cheap as chips over there for T Shirts. How many members do we have with over 500 posts?
