  1. Sounds odd. One of my employees ove here had a bee in her bonnet about living in the UK and so worked like mad to get qualified to the right level so she would qualify for the "Rare Breeds" or whateverthe special residency was in those days. She had to jump through hoops send bank statements going back ages to show she could pay her own way etc. BUT the difference was that they were hers. To get a normal UK visit visa you just need your own Invite letter, proof of financial ability to show a probability that you would return. To gain residence then your mate should be attending joint interviews at the Embassy/Consulate. If he travels regularly then he should either get on the plane, OR contact Home Office - not hard to do an ID theft from all that info
  2. You really have to laugh. The poor people losing their jobs at poopey at a time of austerity. The players still don't get it do they? Tomorrow they are manning the Ticket Office. You'd think at least ONE of them would have had the brains to work it out.. They've sacked EVERYONE ELSE you morons. Those of you suspended or unfit for Saturday's match are running the fecking Turnstiles, cleaning the bogs and selling programmes. THERE IS NO - ONE ELSE LEFT ON THE PAYROLL TO DO IT
  3. Hey cool. You can only work with the material you are given. Meanwhile great link Moggy - thx
  4. Yawn. Nobody knows what his salary is. We got promoted last season based on his leadership, his contract like that of every player at the club would have included bonuses for promotion. That is why NC had such a rant at AP when it was clear we weren't going to make it in year one. Compare the income from last year with that of this year - nobody with any business acumen would work without a bonus plan (especially an EX banker) Cortese in a c@nt. But he is OUT c@nt.
  5. While that rings very close to a lot of what we would imagine to have been the case, I cannot see how AA would put that into print, too much potential for future litigation for an IP to give vent like that. IMHO would be more likely to come from a lower level insider at poopey who knew what was going on or a lower level at UHY. BUT more likely? Vlad had it dictated to a translator. Wonder how long before we hear the allegations that Lumpitt was on a percentage of transfer deals... It's gonna get very dirty, that's f'sure
  6. Oh just remembered a ROFL line from JE 2 Taking the elf & safety p1ss as the bad guys advance I am obliged to inform you that you are about to enter a potential combat zone... biff bang thump
  7. Look, give the guy a break will you. After all, it's taken him since 8th July 2009 to come up with some sort of retort, he is a skate after all, why did you expect anything else?
  8. FL have NO remit to manage Profitability of a football club, nor did they ever have that remit at poopey. FL had accounts from poopey and up to November by all accounts they had cash being given to the club by CSI (or the start of season loan) So they were fine. That is no real difference from any organisation. It was only when the cash stopped from CSI that Lumpitt had no plan B You can be sure that if poopey were buying the players without that CSI initial backing the FL would have been all over them like a rash NEXT season will be different when FFP comes in. That form of operating won't be allowed - and hence WTF was Lumpitt thinking when doing his cash flow plans. Again FL could not enforce an FFP rule on poopey and not the rest of the league (to allow pfc a minor part of a debating point) as they could have potentially sued them. But SFC OPERATIONALLY runs at FFP rules, the fews obsession with the ML loan - well, it is a PRIVATE company, absolutely no reason to convert that into Equity. IF SFC ever get sold then that loan will be converted into Equity and any buyer will pay for the Equity plus a "Goodwill" value for the business - which is why IF you managed to get through to NC and offer to buy Saints you'd be asked for 1) around 40 mil and 2) would NOT be permitted to buy the club IF you intended to do a leveraged buy-out (allegedly)
  9. TBF to him though, nothing greatly different between what he did and what the Glazers did at Manure & the idiots at Liverpool... Leverage Leverage Leverage. Still haven't learnt the lessons
  10. Mortgage the future even more, great plan
  11. Think that may well end up as an all time classic TSW quote, alongside Alp's England will get whitewashed during the Ashes series.. Oh that is IMHO based on watching him play (live) as well
  12. BUT They are getting in the loans with the parent club paying wages. Sure they have the costs of hotels/food/transport etc, but each one who goes out saves them between 10 & 15k a week. Plenty of decent PL players out there in need of a game. The more they bring in the merrier IMHO.... Because as we all know, new players take time to bed into a team and style of play. The more they bring in the longer it will take them to "Gel" (we had that argument ourselves in the Burley days) I mean. let's face it our super duper PL star on loan has made an enormous difference to our team hasn't he?
  13. And after the adverts here is a little sojourn into the world of Cooking. This week's recipe
  14. How many Reserve Squad players do WBA have? Will be interesting to know how soon the only club daft enough to help Voldermort will run out
  15. A Hotel has been built on nottarf. Proceed directly to Moneyfields, do not pass Go, do not collect 20 million
  16. Ah, so you think AA would not have seen this line njoy xchurch airport. Jet lag just about burnt out for tonight, sweet dreams one and all
  17. As has Matt Slater. Parachute payments... The original CVA proposed using them to pay off the debt, maybe the FL/PL have grown some and seen that "the 2nd admin may decide to change the rules" and have grown some. Fun days, thank fook for jetlag
  18. WTF is TUPE? Is it some new slogan instead of pack the park? - turn up poopey excrement
  19. You're asking me a question about UK Employment Legislation? Was just working from the start point that many would have only signed up new contracts with NewCo so length of service is the issue. But then I ain't got involved in UK stuff for about 18 years.
  20. The GOOD news is that PCFC 2010 have only been in existance for a year so when it comes to redundancy payments............ More people who cannot afford it get screwed again
  21. As it says. Had his day, had his bad moment, but it was the way he told 'em RIP big man, will love you forever for what you said to my (ex) wife on a NYE booze cruise gala evening from Southampton to Cherbourg
