Anyone who watched the game on NYD could see the team are shattered. They need a break. It was clear all over the XMas period, we cut back on our pressing game and some of those demanding the first team plays again were those moaning we weren't pressing like usual. Yes I would love a good cup run, but one of the most often stated issues with "Kids" is you have to manage their playing time. The number of moans about Shaw of late of JWP losing form. Lambert not making an impact. The squad is not yet big enough for a Premier League season of 38 games let alone any cup games with our style of play. Some rotation is needed. Trouble is we ain't got enough players left to bring in. THAT worries me far more than this season's cup run.
