http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/portsmouth/7500771/Portsmouth-crisis-eased-as-Balram-Chainrai-drops-claim-for-immediate-payment.html Ah ha so no buyers coming forward so Chanrai gives them some breathing space. 14 mil to get to the end of the season, 5 mil from TV money after the fine hmm

Anyone else noticed that the service providers look like they are trying to improve their service? I was "spammed" to complete a survey, interesting the range of things they are looking to see if we want included. With our skanky ISP service down here the Video side of the player is a pain in the backside but seems like they are doing their homework. A video archive of the 60's & 70's - why did i think of TT when seeing that idea :-P But they are looking to make them additional costs or revenue earning streams from subscription increases or advertising Oh & Mods, on that subject, why the sudden appearance of adverts on full members pages on here?

Bugger. Had everything sorted, flights & Hotel booked, favourite seat so I get served my nosh quickly on the plane and.. Had to change it all due to work. So now going to have to enjoy the delights of Network Rail on Saturday for my big night out and hopefully a lift back on Sunday to avoid the delays. Best laid plans... But upside is I may now get some time for some golf so better pack my wellies & waterproofs

Storrie comes out with his interview that all but says Azhougy acted as a non-approved Shadow Director and then they get hit with possibly one of the biggest fines in the history of Football? I don't see that as co-incidence and I don't see it stopping there. They breached FA rules. That makes it also possible they breached UK Company Law as well. We already know HMRC have their teeth into them, they may have avoided winding up by opening their books to HMRC etc, but at what possible other costs? UK Company Law will have a different set of "Penalties" they can apply from those available to the Football Authorities

Wowsa, ONE MILLION QUID for breaching Corporate Governance regulations. Now who would be responsible at the club for Corporate Governance being adhered to? Well I never, it would be the CEO. Well done Storrie, what next for the Worst CEO in British History? Wait for it... "It wasn't me it was Azoughy.." To which the reply is? And who carried out the Due Dilligence on that takeover which allowed him into the club? Oh yes, Storrie

I liked this quote from Grunt in that Beeb article Good job they played with their heads up (their own asses) otherwise they'd have only had about 15,000 of their own fans at the game... ohh

I had Fish & Chips today... But deffo Beef Roasties, Sprouts, Parsnips, Yorkshire Pud, Very Young & Tender Peas and critically with Beef Colemans English Mustard. Recently did a Roast Loin of Pork for a change (really not easy getting good crackling from the frozen pork down here, followed the flash sear the meat in a pan first then slow roast in the oven trick I saw on the telly. (Finely chopped garlic added to hot extra virgin oil sprinkled with Oregano & Herbs de Provence before adding the meat and frying off the outside) I love crackling with a leg of Pork but that meat was something else, best way to do Pork that's for sure. We need a Cooking Forum

But would be a good time to put a youngster on the bench to get some game time IF we are playing well and winning. Good chance now for Mills to show he should be kept on

As Charlie Miller said TBF And my comment, precisely.

And who was it that told them that? Who was it that checked history versus what was being said? Yes, that's right, the World's foremost football M&A experts, This thread. Good news is we are now in negotiations with Keith Harris as their contracted experts. Hopefully this means that allegedly The Seaview & Unit 1 will no longer be the only parts of the world with a monopoly on fluffy yellow chicks. Oops sorry am I not allowed to say that? I apologise to Orville

Big well done to Greg Hill who called the result & the reaction the same way I did (Winky smiley Soi 33 thingy to him) Keeps the dream alive a few days longer. RB is a problem and needs sorting out. BUT the good news is we sound like we played badly and won 3-0. That is good news. Maybe if the pressure is now off the team can perform. You never know, we've felt this season that the team have stumbled when the pressure was on, possibly the NC pressure (though deserved) caused the stumbles. A strange thing Sports Psychology, you never know what can spur a team on or cause them to freeze like rabbits. Onwards to the Hartlepool game and let us HOPE that it is the expansive Saints that turn up at Wembley next week
