  1. Damn, why didn't we think of that for London 2012. Bloody Rupert should have bid.... Damn you Rupe's - Lowe OUT
  2. Nah, you won't have to wait that long. Events will start to escalate in about 48 minutes time. Maybe
  3. Got to be done...... Can you tell if the Goalposts are moving?
  4. lol t'was discussed in a similar way in the pub where we watched last night - dancing for joy in the streets in Manchester and riots in Stevenage and the like. Still, on a more positive note, was the first time for a while EricofArabia & myself have watched a game which DIDN'T have a goal inside the first minute, watching how badly they were made to perform we started a who looks most like Ryan Smith sweepstake.... Was a close call between Giggs, Park & Anderson, with Ferdinand doing a good job of trying to be Ollie Lancashire
  5. There, I allegedly edited it for you for a possiblly more accurate effect, maybe Anyone heard the one about his kid and his credit card on ebay to buy some goalposts for his 3/4 sized football pitch in his back garden? Apparently he complained after delivery that he couldn't find them They kept moving
  6. Which tells us that if Swansea don't send the money or we don't get bought today, Swansea could possibly pick him up free if we are liquidated because we cannot pay the wages and he becomes a free agent with the rest of the squad... Hmmmm Not sure how wise it was giving the buyer that much information...
  7. Yesterday was set to be a pivotal day for Southampton Football Club according to Mr Fry. And?
  8. Send it back if you can still get a refund IMHO of course Yours Depressed and worried of Al Safa Busy day tomorrow, night all
  9. Note I said still very worried. I didn't say suicidal of Al Safa HTH Anyone else notice that watching the mancs was like watching Saints on telly this year - sort of disorganised aimless and flat???
  10. They won't. But SMS may Leak tomorrow. Yours, still very worried of Al Safa
  11. Oh they did. But then perhaps a thick skinned fool who doesn't let it get to him was what we needed at the beginning. I'd love to have a beer or a round of Golf with MLT when this is all over and hear what he thinks
  12. Since Day One It's what he is apparently very good at
  13. Isn't that always the way with Hotmail accounts though
  14. More twists and turns than a Dan Brown Novel, as easy to read and filled with the same grammatical nightmares. Yes, his new novel will be published in September, Saints and Sinners, the true story of the Southampton Takeover. Will be number one in the fiction charts within minutes and stay there for let's guess, 48 hours Meanwhile the Dyer thing could be very good news, sad to see him go he'll be good in a few years regards slightly less than very worried of Al Safa
  15. Hi dude If you still F5'ing, Players Lounge for the footie - an evening of taking the p*ss out of Josh and his mate
  16. You want the really bad news? Even IF Fry makes someone exclusive in this current 48 hour cycle, the work still to be done before completion (ie the money is paid) would mean that it is highly UNLIKELY that any backers would want their identities known, simply because of the risk to their mainstream business if they were to be seen to have made a public failure. So, in other words, probably not before NEXT Friday
  17. all part of the wording of the contracts I would expect...
  18. Set of reading specs in the post No idea. and post 484
  19. lol I am worried. The Irish have arrived late, they have made a deposit but have to agree and sign contracts to reach exclusivity. Those contracts caused Pinnacle to hit a brick wall and delayed the MJ/SG grouping. Fry said he wanted Pinnacle & MJ/SG to keep talking. Specialist legal knowledge came my way from a friend which as a helper I have passed on. The advice indicated that contracts would in all likelihood need to be signed today to avoid the possibility that the club could be placed in Admin, possibly tomorrow. So I am worried about that input, I have no clue or any source from UK as to whether it could be linked to specific operational problems at the club, it was the advice that was worrying. I cannot post it on here, not because of any iTK'ness, but because it is a family friend who works in a related field and he specifically asked me to not mention the details but ask the group to contact him directly. I am told his professional advice has been helpful, but it is not known if it has come in time. So I apologise for any typos or linguistic faults, but not for being worried
  20. Unless there is nobody else that can get through the mass of contractual issues. This is a very dangerous time to have no safety net, and Fry himself said words to that effect in the Echo article
  21. No idea, I get stuff about process, but I suppose it could be something to do with it, but then I thought that was said last week not to be an issue, hence no idea
  22. Ah ha someone knows the area - nah I'm a bit further up, nearer to Park & Shop, but my old place got demolished this year! They won't build the canal for a couple of years - they ain't got the money! That would just be traffic nightmare, this other stuff is worrying.
  23. I stayed with family friends a couple of weekends ago, they knew somebody close to the epicentre, they indicated things could be extremely difficult, more so than we on here would think. He got in touch this morning and said - be worried - so I am. Today is a very dangerous time. If the new guys sign the contracts then fantastic. If they delay then there is a danger that Pinnacle & MJ/SG group ease off we may run out of time to save the FC from being put into admin. 3 hours to go by his reckoning to get something signed
  24. Meanwhile, back on topic. Danger lurks, minefields abound, and the blindfolded downhill skateboard problem still exists. The journo on Beeb may be right about his allegation of Fry saying it could be a pivotal day. He forgot to mention in which way. Very worried of Al Safa
  25. Tom Anderson has links to Paul Gregg. That could become a very worrying problem because I am reliably informed that Paul Gregg has links to Rupert. Luckily though, Wiki has Gregg down as being from Scarborough which sort of halves the Irish Duo story a little Now I was informed reliably, whether the information is reliable is another matter of course:-)
