She just fell for my wit, charm and eloquence. (Cos the ex wife had taken everything else I had left!) Which annoys the hell out of Eric, he can't understand it either. But it was funny hearing her shout at Boruc in Polish to get a move on towards the end!

Post Match Reaction: SAINTS 0-0 West Ham

Wow bonkers crazy busy weekend THAT was. Brilliant to finally catch up with a TRUE TSW legend and talk all things Turkish. Really enjoyed the game. God WHU were dreadful - total Anti-Football. So SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad we don't have to watch that every week. Yes we were dragged down to their level but from my new ST in row H behind the goal in the Chapel, SRL was already wheeling away to celebrate HOW DID THAT NOT GO IN? and Jaaskawhatever had a dream game with a string of full stretch saves. (Perhaps we need to bundle or fumble the ball in) hen we were slow we were ponderous, but there were times when we did ping the ball around and it was wonderful to behold. The movememt off the ball by JRod & Osvaldo was amazing, the minute nudges & flicks that you can never really see on the telly were sublime and nearly worked on a number of occassions. Back to my bugbear of Lallana and his poor first touch, yes I admit he has improved but he is still taking 1.5 touches and missed a chance and wasted a couple of chances to set up others. Defence loved the look of Lovren & Fonte now seems so much more assured on the ball. What a fantastic dive it was to get one of the two FK's near the end, and what great tactic & delivery from JWP with the face the Kinglsland and hook it to the far post tactic. So, sh1t game, awful refereeing as usual from Marriner, really enjoyed it, first point seen live by Mrs D_P and by last season's Dubai Saints Away shirt. Only grumble the queues in the Mega Store I got a Tee & a Polo shirt NO WAY buying the kit, but was REALLY good to see so many nippers getting their Dad's to buy them the shirts, what a change round. Oh and WTF was it with the weather? Forecast all week said maybe some rain on Friday but sunny all weekend and then THAT? FFS Baton handed to Eric for Dubai Saints in UK at Liverpool, he has to beat our point AND smuggle a 16L Keg of OSH back home. -
Whilst JBS can celebrate his resounding victory, he has lost a couple of points in a count back for failing to pay attention whilst at SMS on Sunday His loss of course

Basil Fawlty was my inspiration. Just one of his cracking put down lines to Sybil. It's great I made a whole career out of it. Co-incidentally, the SWF Managerial Legends will be debating this and many other critical Tactical Points over a few pints of 6X tomorrow night in deepest darkest Salisbury. We like to stay current, you never know when Opportunity may strike, we just can't decide whether to polish our cv's for Sunderland or for Man Ure at the moment. And before anyone else comments, sorry, Mythbusters blew that one away, you CAN polish a turd.

A lot of people are also forgetting context in their ramblings today. Rickie was the ONLY option, so no matter what he MIGHT be best at it was never going to happen because, what many forget is that last night we NEEDED to DRAW. The team was set up to be defensive. Rickie's MAIN job was to hassle their defenders/keeper into kicking long so our CB's could eat their forwards alive. It worked. There are few better than him at that because the OTHER thing he did was... Get in the way but he did NOT dive in, he did NOT give away silly fouls (one shirt tug in the box & one mis-trap and foot out apart) Rooney would have been scything in all over the place and Wellbeck does not have the upper body strength to do that. Also, notably in that first spate of corners, Rickie had TWO defenders on him whereas that left Cahill each time in one on ones. We COULD have scored from one of those. He was isolated because Walcott & Milner were primarily playing as Wing Backs - The England Defensive line was very deep last night, they were afraid of the pace of the two Ukrainian Wide men. They were at least 10 yards deeper than against Moldova. Rickie's job was to play as a front-line defender and MAYBE if the half chance did come he could put it away. He did what his manager wanted, the moaners should actually be happy as now there is a good chance they'll get at least another 3 or 4 WC games to moan about England at. Job was done. Rooney wide left as he plays for Man Ure, Rickie in the centre & Wellbeck or Sturridge on the right in a home game will rip any side to shreds because England will keep a much better SHAPE.

More positive reviews Martin Keown of all people http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2417035/Englands-Kyle-Walker-looked-depth-positives-Roy-Hodgson-Martin-Keown-Match-Zone.html

The Hi Speed Cat service out to Watson's Bay is a great tour of the Harbour, have Fish & Chips in the park by their kiosk then walk up to the cliffs not sure it goes from Manly though. Darling Harbour is great for evening dinner and The Rocks area on the left side of the Bridge as opposed to the Opera House side is a nice place to bumble round

This is NOT going to end well. As I have posted before. The wife is a Saints Fan. She is also Polish. Bonkers Boruc is a National Treasure for being, well, Boruc. God if it is a Winner takes all situation......... still have nightmares about John Motson's commentary even today Didn't somebody lose the ball over on the side by the Royal Box and before you could say Nooooo the ball was in our net? (Hunter by above accounts)

Weird one this. @dubaisaints are spread far and wide. 1 in London, 2 at the game, 3rd maybe making it insh'allah, 1 in Leigh, 1 in Frankfurt, 1 in Singapore, 1 in Doha, 1 on Miami Beach Will be interesting comparing notes on the standard of coverage/taters in each location and levels of Jet Lag against Liverpool!

Not for the Poland & Montenegro games he won't. Carroll is out until at least the end of this year and possibly longer. May need surgery.

http://wallstcheatsheet.com/stocks/7-upcoming-films-that-prove-sci-fi-is-back-in-a-huge-way.html/ Going to be a busy time through 2014. Although not all of them seem to be "true" Sci-Fi, the Nolan story looks interesting though
