Rocket Science. It ain't. aap3 have just offered you the job as VP of Sales. The Company has a sound Product that is in demand and solid financial backing to expand and grow. The salary package is almost double what you were on before. You have the chance to live anywhere you like from South West London through to Sandbanks and only have to spend 3 or 4 hours a day in the office. The job allows you to cover the whole of the UK and includes Private Jets to get to away meetings. You then hear that Microsoft have a potential vacancy in a division that does the same as aap3. You know that they used to be a really major force but it was a long time ago. Now they just pick up occassional moments. The salary is the same, you can extent your living location out into the Essex Countryside. The difference is that you will get to fly to meetings in Europe, many in countries that you have never heard of. aap3 are pushing you but you know you could regret it IF you did not at least wait to hear what Microsoft actually had to offer. Your wife in the meantime is telling you that SHE wants you to wait until Apple come calling and make you VP of World Wide Sales with lots of summer trips to SE Asia so she can holiday in exotic locations. Osvaldo is doing NOTHING that any one of us would not do. Buy time. ANY of the new jobs would be better than the one you have now where all your work mates stab you in the back and your customers are so annoyed with the Performance of your company that you spend most of your days answering Complaints. He'll jump when he knows what all the options are. ANYONE who doesn't weigh up all options would be stupid and I don't think this club signs Stupid Players any more

True. But it IS bloody funny reading so many people's persistent Opinion that they are correct and know everything about Nothing. 10 times a page as often as not.

Yep. Unless I use home advantage properly and play you down here this month on one of our stupid long courses in 45C heat and 85% humidity Have a great trip everyone who is #MarchingIn we're all #jealous but will be @barasti as usual using Eric's 30% discount card to keep the beer cost down to 6 quid a pint.

We are so lucky that this forum has such strong willed posters who can keep us on track while arguing that a Translator who Interprets a language can produce output which although interpreted is in fact a fact. Damn I miss the days before Twitter & Twits

We are Southampton we (almost) always lose our first game of the season in the PL. It's The Southampton Way. Deep down we know that is what happens in the same way we knew Rickie would score. (Just we never let ourselves believe it) When it happens I'll just order another pint of Pedigree and discuss the positives from the game and look forward to our first win vs Wet Sham

1) Everything is Arabic (It's a Qatari Station) only likely to find one or two Eng Channels at any one time. PL games MAY have the option to change language. They did not have that when we were in nPc but new boxes being rolled out here so may happen 2) Maybe point the coat hanger slightly more South?

Out of order GS. BIG time

Does he actually have an English Passport yet? Wow, imagine that, an England team with a proper DM instead of Lampard & Gerrard farking up the role
-
I feel like that every morning when I wake up. Even more like that when I go to work.

Anyone who can look that cool while picking his nose can sit around in his shreddies all day long for all I care

That was already noticeable on the Daily Fail Sport Home page in a pre-season review. Rickie is a name & a face now, not just that bloke down at Southampton. I am sure it won't affect him but I do hope that he doesn't get bombarded and distracted by Agents wanting him to model underwear, advertise Pizzas or beer and all of that nonsense. (Yet at the same time I'd wish him well on what extra money he can earn off it for the future of his family)

Caveat Empor Al J do NOT have the rights to sell a subscription to the UK and while it works now there COULD be a row later. All I am saying is be careful guys. Actually it could be bloody funny. You lot have to start using those strange IP switching products and pretending you are down here when we keep trying the reverse so we can get to sometimes watch IPlayer. PMSL at the thought of TMS regulars suddenly finding themselves faced with our Proxy Police. The locals won't give a sh1t and will take money. Sky/BT will get annoyed having paid a lot and will either enforce IP tracking or start legal crap like they have done with pubs. Take it while you can but don't expect any Consumer Protection (and yes Sky/BT could even go after the Credit Card companies for allowing transactions) and expect things COULD change and you'll need to be quick & nimble.

I'll leave you lot to attack the author... Son of a Beetroot Farmer? Isn't there a new song in that somewhere? But of a Dusty revamp?

Actually we're quite developed down here these days. We actually have proper plumbing so don't need a commode.

thx bugger Am back the weekend before

Hmm ST eh Sue? Don't tell Mrs D_P but fancy doing lunch some time? On the way to the Pub Before the Wet Sham Game? Don't know any Turkish Restaurants but Mick The Greek does a decent Sunday scoff

My google translate said that because Lambert is going to Arsenal, Osvaldo is happier as he will get more starts

Don't get carried away guys They have THE worst Customer Service on the planet. For the 2010 World Cup they provided a picture quality that made the average Juddervision Stream look like HD TV. They change matches plans and channels at zero notice - some of the Championship & L1 games were totally unwatchable due to the quality of their Video Feed (They broadcast across more than one Satellite unlike Sky for eg (Eng game was advertised at + 6 it was on +10. You will NOT get English taters one every channel - at least ADMC/OSN let you switch language). Also only ONE game will have the full studio set each week. The round up and build up TV will be good Keys & Gray have actually moved to Qatar. So they will have the usual culprits as Pundits getting a freebie week away, airmiles and about 6 grand a session - Curbishley, Reid, Hoddle Venables et al. Last night they had Ray Clemence & Ian Wright with Andy Gray very old school for you lot now raised on Gary Neville! And their web site and call centre? Even from here in Dubai back in 2010 I ran up 150 quid of phone bills TRYING to get the bloody stuff working before an England game (And DON'T try to get an answer from them on a Friday) - yes I ended up in a Pub watching it in Arabic despite having paid for it It is NOT the Dog's Bananas. It IS an option though. Oh and they have the 6 Nations Egg Chasers the Golf US Masters & US Open last couple of years

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2394399/James-Beattie-pays-Accrington-Stanleys-tax-bill.html The guy may have had his dodgy moments when he was younger, but he is now turning out to be a real diamond. Good luck to him (and of course Bumble from the Sky Cricket Crew) in getting the Stanley moving forward this season

Lot of confusion down here still. Pubs haven't got their new boxes, cable operators haven't been told what to charge their customers and we have no idea if it will be on Saturday. At the MOMENT you can get a 3 months subscription (down here it costs about $100) but also worth noting Al J have FA Cup Capital AND England games. They also have Europa & CL games Not totally sure about the legality of them selling to people in the UK Sky/BT may have an issue about that so take care. Also, Al J do NOT actually OWN the TV rights to the PL. The rights were won by some outfit NOBODY had ever heard of. Al J simply beat ADMC & OSN for the deal to be the BROADCAST partner All we DO know is that the Manager of the @dubaisaints home pub (Barasti) has guaranteed we will be on live Saturday. Sorting the home access is secondary to that for us. We tend to use it in the winter when midweek games KO at midnight local and we can watch a bit before hitting the sack on work days http://www.thenational.ae/news/uae-news/uae-fans-in-the-dark-over-english-premier-league-tv-coverage
