Page 46. Oh we'll know if he's signing pretty soon, he'll appear at that hotel down in the Forest, Limewood or whatever and a taxi driver will have met a private Jet at Beastleigh or will be collecting him from T5 or whatever But then he has to go to the Uni to have his Medical so it will still be a while before we get an OS announcement

Hang on. It was When I went downstairs to make my Bacon Sandwich 4 hours ago.... Are we talking a normal few here or a blue phew?
-
Has he signed yet? Or should we have a new thread for that and rename this our formation speculation thread?

That was intended to be slightly tongue in cheek But saw one up close for the first time yesterday and it is even worse than I thought. My protest is that their take from my trip back will be 80 quid down on last year as neither myself nor Mrs D_P want to be seen out in public in one of those nasties. -
Am I the only one on here to have clicked on that link and picked up an unusual infection? nice work Bearsy

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2396280/Duped-drug-mule-friend-eyed-villain-Peru-girls-Ibiza-link-fraudster-blinded-feud-notorious-Goldfinger-gangster.html Sometimes you wonder whether it really is worth trying to educate every single person on the planet. Some brains may simply be empty. Unfortunately, being thick has never seemed to be a very valid defence in Drug Cases Not least the so called fraudster who can't even spell properly:)

Is this a trick question? (won't post any other answer until checks with local lawyer about UAE, Extradition, Civil Law & Libel issues!) -
Oh and it was really good to see JWP really INVOLVED yesterday, seemed he had stepped up a level in decision making and was starting to create rather than doing simple things well. (Pre match the talk was more that JWP had never really stamped his Authority on any games last year - had looked good/solid but had not seemed a "game changer" - that opinion was changed yesterday f'sure) Think we are gonna learn to love the Johny Wilkinson thing as the season progresses.....

We've seen a lot of nippers make debuts for Saints. IMHO a large percentage of the ones I have seen have tended to look a bit like a fish out of water as the game went on around them. They may have done nothing wrong but they weren't totally integrated & involved. The goods ones showed promise, even AL's debut looked a bit early (and we then sent him on loan) can only really remember Shearer as being an eye opener But Chambers yesterday was simply a well oiled cog in the machine. The minor critique that he did not get forward as well as Clyne but then FFS we WERE away from home and we've all watched away games over the years where our Strikers have hardly got over the half way line away Very assured, very confident, comfortable on the ball and very promising

399 Completed Passes vs 364 for WBA 77.9% Passing Accuracy 33 Crosses (Note 33 crosses in 90 minutes - not making any chances ROFL) 18.2% of Crosses were successful. So there is an area to work on improving Total Shots 8 v 11 to them Our shot accuracy? 80% 8 corners to 4 for them http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2396134/West-Bromwich-Albion-0-Southampton-1--match-report-Rickie-Lambert-scores-late-penalty.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/matchzone/index.html#s2013-c8-m694909

Would it be fair to say......... It's Happening? Really? Nah not possible, we're Saints. Ah sod it #Titledreamstillalive

OK the morning after thoughts. The lack of goals from the front 4 is not such a big issue as it appears. During the game we noticed a tendency for crosses into the box to be very "Floaty". Not so much corners & free kicks (which were an upgrade on last year but still say 10% short of a real fizzing delivery) Now whether the floaty ness was down to players not actually being in position when the ball was about to be played in or down to poor technique would need another watch of the game. But there were a number of times when JR SRL were hurtling into position and a gentle chip is wafted in there general direction which is a really easy ball for a defender to clear. It's a minor adjustment to our build up play and I have no idea if it is lack of quality or lack of confidence or lack of positioning from the strikers. Maybe it's JP's fault that there were too many floaters about yesterday. Anyway a really minor point we picked up on through 4 pints of Pedigree. On the subject of Gaston thought he seemed just a little behind the pace (which maybe no bad thing as last season at times I thought he seemed half a yard thought - wise ahead of the rest of our team). Considering he was a couple of weeks behind the rest of the lads with pre-season (thanks to the money grabbing suits at FIFA) and had just flown 10,000 meaningless miles I'm not concerned, we looked really good without him and he will soon catch up and hopefully improve us. We are learning to love JRod's little trick - his ability to play a one -two off a defender - the number of times when he has run into a channel and has little support that he manages to win us a throw in in the attacking 3rd is amazing. He did it as well a couple of times around the box to make a half yard of space, seen it in a lot of games now and it seems to be a deliberate technique with the underside of his foot. Chambers block to stop WBA scoring was as sensational as Boruc's save. Once Fonte realises that Morgan is our Hollywood passer and stops with the attempts even he'll be hard to drop. Great performance yesterday, never could it have been deemed scrappy. Oh and the new shirt? Still looks awful up close. Our new mate from Doha Saints had one on. "It's growing on him" hmmm. Could be the only downer of what could be an exciting season!

He'd have to leave for your eyes only first Apparently
-
Not only that mate but to have a bunch of drunk Geordies coming up to us in the bar and singing the Rickie Lambert song..... #goingglobal
-
Thank God for reality pointing out that we couldn't have been watching Saints as there were no stripey shirts on our side of the pitch, because at times we looked sensational. HT Stat of 63% possession gave us twitchy bums because despite some sublime touches we had not really created anything. What a debut by young Chambers, 18 years old FFS? Wanyama as someone tweeted did he look like a 12.5 mil player? No he looked like a 25mil player. Lovren? Quality. Great to have members of Doha Saints in the bar with us. One big down side? Thanks to RIckie we now have to put up with newly found SRL fans trying to sing the SRL song. Today it was a sloshed Geordie - yeah it was funny but after 90 mins... Oh and randomly we had a new member today. Used to go to school with JWP. Ah bless #stillbuzzing The Title Dream is still on
-
blame George Weah's Cousin on Twitter for that. In local Traffic News. WHERE IS OUR FARKING TAXI? Late again AAnd no Punch on the bench JWP starts never expected that

It's all very different from Sky/BBC when you are actually with people that are worried for their families. Enjoy the game! Hope you find an ENG language, if not the Arabic tater's cry of LAMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBBBBBBBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT when he scores is worth the trip alone

20 min delays on trains out of New Street apparently (Twitter) walk to B'ham Moor Street is being suggested

Oi. Less of the Old. Miss those days we had Gray & Keys this morning apparently. I missed it as I fell asleep again trying to read the Osvaldo thread
