Keep mentioning it. It's football and related to the club. I don't get the point made a few posts above about being force fed it. I find motor racing incredible tedious so I don't watch it or read about it even though it's all over tv and the radio. Anyone can do the same with women's football if they wish, which is a lot easier because it isn't all over the media. Going back to tonight's games I want Arsenal and Luton to win.

Dragowski wouldn't be a young number 2. He'll want to be a starting keeper and isn't going to move to sit on the bench.
-
I can see that happening with Bazunu. Starts the season on the bench, plays cup games and the forces his way into the first team. Some great saves on this video.
-
Not in the Premier League. Bazunu would be a good signing. Surely everyone on here knows a few Pompey fans to ask about him. The ones I know all think he's excellent and they would have been further down the league without him.
-
Van Dijk is so worried about getting a load of abuse at St Mary's that he's faked an injury in the cup final.
-
Can't bring myself to that. My mate once called him TAA and I nearly threw up.
-
I wonder if Jenas will mention the reason Alonso is always in space in the attacking third is because his mate Alexander Arnold has hopeless defensive positioning?
-
Fair point. It will be 3-1 to Saints.
-
Salah injured, they're nothing without him. 3-0 to Saints.
-
Luton 1-1 Huddersfield. Would love Luton to come up. Would need a lot of aways to guarantee a ticket for that one.
-
Think that serious injury he got against Spurs messed him up. Lost the extra yard of pace and was never really the same after that. Doesn't have the other abilities to influence games at the top level without it.

This is third hand information, but originates from someone who works for the club. Ward Prowse definitely wants to stay next season. Whether the club have a price on his head and will sell if a suitable bid from a top team comes in is another matter.
-
They'll be in a weird position where it's still possible to win the title if they get a couple of big wins and Man City lose to Villa at home on the last day. So while it's highly improbable, won't they still probably have to go for it?
-
Oh yeah, how could I forget that goal. Was one of our best this season.
-
So? We conceded 0 league goals against Man City this season. They let in 11.
-
I know a Leeds fan. Quite early in the season he was saying he thought they'd go down. I was almost laughing at him saying he shouldn't be so pessimistic and that they'd be fine. Shows how much I know!

It's hanging in the wardrobe with pride next to my Saints Go Wilde shirt.
-
That's the same player? With him I think that's partly due to the opposition not letting it happen. They've seen his strength in that area against other teams and pit tactics in place to stop it.
-
Why would you hope the Forster thing is true? There's a crap load of better keepers than him, many of which wouldn't cost much. He's literally so painfully average I don't understand what you are watching.
-
That's great news. Hopefully we'll get a decent crowd down there, nice early kick off time too so an easy one to take the kids to.

Sometimes managers go stale at a club, that's what seems to have happened with Rodgers. Doesn't make him a bad manager, but it looks like his time at Leicester has run its course. The truly elite managers would perhaps not let that happen, Rodgers obviously isn't in that bracket but is still decent. Whether he'd be a good fit with us within our transfer constraints is open for debate. He's had the luxury of being able to spend reasonable funds at Leicester which is unlikely to happen here.

That was the impression I got too. Worth saying that due to the popularity of the game our support was those who go to the most matches and could therefore be considered our core fans. For some of them to start that chant was especially significant.
-
We seem to do it in patches, but have definitely eased off it as a full on tactic. Probably don't have the fitness at this point of the season to keep it up, bearing in mind that every single player has to be fully on it to make it work.
-
There was plenty of booing at the end of games around that time, however I don't recall anyone chanting that he'd be getting sacked in the morning as people were yesterday.
